Staff working at America’s National Security Agency—the eavesdropping unit that was revealed to have spied on millions of people—have used the technology to spy on their lovers.

The employees even had a code name for the practice—“Love-int”—meaning the gathering of intelligence on their partners.

Dianne Feinstein, a senator who chairs the Senate intelligence committee, said the NSA told her committee about a set of “isolated cases” that have occurred about once a year for the last 10 years. The spying was not within the US, and was carried out when one of the lovers was abroad. …

Isolated case.

Anecdotal evidence.

I’m not doing anything wrong.

The dog ate my homework.

A friend came in last night from out of town.

It’s just the makings of a police state.

-— Wonder what data NSA has on members of congress and senate and how it will be used on the 2014 and 2016 elections??. ——

That’s what this is about. Zero doesn’t even have to make an overt threat, which would leave a trail. The implied threat is enough.

“Wonder what data NSA has on members of congress and senate and how it will be used on the 2014 and 2016 elections??.”

I think we already know the NSA has the goods on the GOP members of Congress and they are scared to death of the information being released. Boehner, Cantor, McConnell, McCain, Graham, and others certainly behave like puppets of the administration and not servants of their constituents.

No doubt the problem is much worse than reported. Audits typically only touch the tip of the iceberg,

“-— Wonder what data NSA has on members of congress”..

Probably not much compared to Google. Another example of the private sector doing a better job :)

Imagine all of this information on a single flashdrive. Information gathering on steroids to be used and abused by those who see themselves as our 'overseers'.

I think former spouses/girlfriends of NSA employees should file civil litigation.

As it turns out, these guys are a bunch of pervs. Who’d of thunk it?
