“Paid administrative leave“? After operating a website that lists the President of the United States on an enemies list, doesn’t the Department of Homeland Security have a couple of better options?
The Department of Homeland Security said Friday that an employee who runs a racist website predicting and advocating a race war has been put on paid administrative leave.
Ayo Kimathi, an acquisitions officer for Immigration and Customs Enforcement who is in charge of buying weapons and ammunition for the government, operates the website named “War on the Horizon.” It includes descriptions of an “unavoidable, inevitable clash with the white race.” Kimathi is black.
Kimathi, who calls himself the “Irritated Genie,” told his supervisors that the website was set up to sell concert and lecture videos.
Kimathi has been with the department since 2009. His website criticizes whites, gays, those of mixed race, and blacks who integrate with whites. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups, earlier this week reported on Kimathi’s role in running the site.
I’ll give you even odds he gets his job back, too. Remember what his job is?
Kimathi’s former supervisor said among his duties at DHS and ICE is speaking at various vendor events. He’s one of the agency’s public faces. It is his job to advocate for small business owners “white, black, historically disadvantaged, disabled veteran-owned, everybody,” the supervisor said.
“He fights for the little guy,” the supervisor said. “And he’s very good at it. He has a commanding presence. He’s very suave. It’s almost as if he has a split personality.”
The real question is this: how did DHS manage to miss this when even the Southern Poverty Law Center managed to find it — especially with DHS’ hyperventilation about right-wing extremism?
Will DHS celebrate and release another 20,000 felons?
I just bet that this racist clown will be promoted to heading the DHS.
He may be on paid leave, but I’ll bet you he has been pre-identified as a team, group, or regional leader in Obama’s Civilian Defense force - as well manned, as well armed and as well funded as our military. It is scary, really. This is stacking up to read like the Turner Diaries.
I’m hard pressed to come up with the name of anybody (other than whistle-blowers) that have been fired by either Soetoro or one of his minions. Even the lying IRS b*tch who took the Fifth during a congressional hearing is still on administrative leave with pay. I guess if they are not fired, they have done nothing wrong in the eyes of this administration.
Well now he has plenty of paid time off to refine his theories and messaging!
Very interesting, strange that the site still remains online. Single out someone for exercising their inalienable right to express themselves as the very fundamental underpinning of our once great nation, yet leave the source for just such action intact.
It may very well be ineptitude on the part of Homeland Security in allowing it to remain online as the threat they've perceived it to be.

Question asked and answered. The SPLC and ACLU are less biased than the government in this day and age. It isn’t because the SPLC AND ACLU became more moderate. Its because the government has gone full-bore Leftist.

And the Department of Homeland SECURITY didn't look at his website while checking him out for a security clearance? Maybe Homeland was too stupid to realize the hatesite calling for whites to be killed was a 'tad over the top'?
Or maybe Homeland Security - like the IRS and FBI (FBI missed the Boston Bombers) were too busy going after Obama's political opponents to bother? Get them right wingers boys.... Yep, that would be my guess.
if it was just money which would get her to talk I'm sure there is no shortfall in the amount our side could raise to loosen her tongue. I'm betting she knows there is a Vince Foster remedy already reserved with her name on it.
I listened to the station... Strangely no mention of lesbians... so I guess to his ilk lesbians are ok. (all do the Jerry Springer cheer: “We like lesbians...” (sarc)
