We already know Manachin, a Democrat, sold out West Virginia with his gun-control antics and sucking up to Obozo. Is the Republican party that stupid.

Because Obama is destroying the coal industry, Manchin might be smart to get out of the Dems.

Manchin votes 75% Marxist. Only a RINO would invite Manchin to join the R party. Republicans should be criticizing him, NOT inviting him to join.

I’d offer it to every Democrat up for reelection. Offer them the world.

Get the majority, go nuclear, impeach Obama, put Ried and Pelosi in prison, change back everything Obama did to destroy the country.

And in exchange we will give you one more election cycle.

By mocking redemption you automatically block its work for yourself too...God has built this ironclad rule into the creation

Is that a fact. Book, Chapter, and Verse please?

I agree....I doubt he would have been involved in a gun deal as a Republican from WVa....he would be in an entirely different dynamic. He probably did have to do that on guns to keep from the Reid mafia on some other issues. Remember, these people do not exist in a vacuum. He is more Republican than Lindsey Graham or John McCain frankly.....

Meanwhile Obama and the RATS conduct open warfare on coal mining. Go figure. I supposed the Mine Workers will want a bailout like GM and Chrysler.

Worth a try. Manchin would still be popular.

I don’t know if the change is possible now...Manchin got his “I’m Obama’s b!tch” tattoo already .... I wonder how you modify that for a party change?

Republican Senators vote for Republican Senate leaders. If there are 51 Republican senators, it’s bye-bye Dingy Harry. Any more questions?

Moving to the GOP would be an embarassment to Obama, make his legislation more difficult, opposing him easier, and he could be primaried out.

This is not that stupid.

"Moving to the GOP would be an embarassment to Obama, make his legislation more difficult..."

Without meaning to sound unkind, I'm wondering if you've been paying attention...

First, I've yet to see Obama embarrassed. He's thin-skinned and gets pissy & vindictive, but there's not much indication that he's embarrassed by anything. Especially when a move would be ignored and cushioned by the MSM, effectively mitigating any potential embarrassment.

Second, given the number of RINOs looking to roll over and have there bellies rubbed by Obama & the Dems, how much hope can we have that a party-switcher is going to fall in with a nearly-nonexistent conservative faction of an already compromised and compromising GOP? It's hard enough to get long-time GOP senators and congresscritters to take a principled opposition view.
