Judges are totally out of control. Another example of a judge seizing control of something where she has no business was the Michigan county judge who declared the bankruptcy of Detroit illegal, and, get this, “disrespectful to President Obama.”
This is the same NM who just recently forced a Christian photographer to take pics of a gay "wedding".

Double edged sword. When the rule of law is overruled by judicial fiat everyone’s rear end is up for grabs. No. The ACLU cannot be entirely comfortable with this.

So, doesn’t New Mexico have a judicial appeals process or can one piddly Judge in podunk really impose his radical pro-homo views on the entire state with impunity?
All of the states, except for Louisiana, are under Common Law. Thus, until it is overturned by explicit statute, a judge is bound to interpret the law as has been commonly held through the ages. This judge is way out of bounds. If he does not like the law, resign from the bench and run for a seat in the legislature in order to change it.
New Mexico apparently doesn't have a specific constitutional provision or law preventing it either. By law it's assumed to be legal then. They'll need to change one or the other if they want to prevent it.
The main definition of discrimination is to tell the difference between things. Discriminate as to why the business owner is right and the gay couple is wrong. What else should a judge be doing?
This so soon after the NewMexico supreme Court told Christian photographers they needed to compromise their religious beliefs—and agree to photo contracts with lesbians. There the supreme Court admitted that New Mexico didn’t recognize same sex marriage— and that this was a fraud but they sided with the lesbians anyway.

And usually just as criminal.

Is that their way of saying “expected to be summarily reversed on appeal?”
