Somali Immigrants Charged With Illegal Double Voting in Minn
Faribault Daily News ^ | August 28, 2013 | Christian Adams

Farhiya Abdi Dool, 38, and Amina A Hassan, 31, each face one felony charge of unlawful voting for voting once by absentee ballot and once at a polling place during the 2012 general election

...

Double voting in a federal election is a federal crime. So far, the U.S. Justice Department has been slack in enforcing this federal law which protects federal (as opposed to state) interests. Meloweese Richardson in Ohio still has not been charged with double voting. Neither has Wendy Rosen in Maryland. There are more. Why isn't Eric Holder's Justice Department enforcing federal laws against double voting?

Out to start in Woods County, Ohio, where 148% of the registered voters voted. Figure that one out.

Well, gee, what’s the fuss about? Holder finally found TWO illegal voters out of possibly a few million.

Put them in jail for five years as an example to the other illegal voters.

Just more racist lies.

We know there is no such thing as voter fraud.

Just ask Eric Holder, Al Franken or any high level democrat.

Voting fraud it a direct undermining of the republic and the democratic process used to select representatives, IT IS TREASON.

Treat it as SUCH!!!

Give them a cigarette and a blindfold and a firing squad...

I am sure they could have forgotten whether or not they mailed the absentee ballot.
My question is why they weren’t marked as having voted at the polling place. I voted early once, and then went to the polling place to see if I was marked as having voted - I was.

Out to start in Woods County, Ohio, where 148% of the registered voters voted.

That was an interesting spec, so I looked it up. It appears not quite like that, but this article in the Columbus Dispatch does point out the problem along that line: Voter fraud in Wood County?

The key paragraphs (underlines mine):
The secretary of state’s site reports that 104,461 people are registered to vote in that county.
That’s where there is some peculiarity.
According to the 2011 Census, Wood County has a population of 126,355. An estimated 21 percent are younger than 18 and unable to vote. That means that only about 100,000, give or take, of Wood County residents should be of voting age.
So why are so many Wood County residents registered to vote?
Wood County is the home of Bowling Green State University, which has an enrollment of more than 20,000.
When those students graduate or leave school, many don’t cancel their voter registration, which leaves the Wood County Board of Elections facing a bit of a conundrum: How can you tell when a voter is no longer a voter?

Without Voter ID, you can't, so there's nothing to prevent the Democratic operatives from busloading in "students" to take their IDs and places in line.

Dunno how they could work it out, but some law should be enacted that mandates that the college (here and elsewhere) supply a list of names of students who graduate or move to the elections committee, who then drop the movers from the list and notify the graduates they have X amount of time to renew their registration or are dropped thereafter. Right now they can't do that for two election cycles, so someone who voted in 2004 and then moved, could still vote in 2012.
