The Rev. Al Sharpton said at the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington on Wednesday that African Americans are still dealing with the legacy of Jim Crow — in the form of Voter ID laws and over-bearing police.
“We come as the children of Dr. King to say that we are going to face Jim Crow’s son,” Sharpton said. “Because he had a son called James Crow, Jr., Esquire.”
Sharpton noted Voter ID laws being passed in state legislatures that minority groups argue are aimed at suppressing African Americans votes.
“He writes voting suppression laws and puts it in language that looks different, but the results are the same,” Sharpton said.

Funny, you have to show photo ID to get into the federal courthouse, but I’ve never seen a black person turned away and nobody has ever claimed black jurors were being “suppressed.”
Jim Crow Jr is a black crow that hates whitey. So I agree with Al, he must be defeated.
Voter ID will help to ensure that the votes of ALL citizens are not negated by illegals and vote fraud so Al is making sure the black vote will soon become irrelevant.

The Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, while visiting a primary school class, found themselves in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings.
The teacher asked both men if they would like to lead the discussion of the word “tragedy”. So the Rev Jackson asks the class for an example of a “tragedy”.
One little boy stood up and offered: “If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a runaway tractor comes along and knocks him dead, that would be a tragedy.”
“No,” says Jesse Jackson, in stentorian tones “I must say no, it is so—that would be an `accident’.”
A little girl raised her hand: “If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy.”
I’m afraid that is a noncorrect obtusion,” explains the emaciated Reverend Al. “That’s what we scholuhs calls a `great loss’.”
The room goes silent. No other children volunteered.
Reverend Al scans the room with his frog-like eyes and asks, “Isn’t there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?”
Finally at the back of the room little Johnny raises his hand.
Johnny says: “If a plane carrying the Reverends Jackson and Sharpton were struck by a missile and blown to smithereens that would be a tragedy.”
“Hallelujah!” together exclaim holy men Jackson and Sharpton, “That is correct, select and abject!” says Jackson.
“And can you tell us why that would be a tragedy?”
“Well,” says little Johnny, “because it sure as hell
wouldn’t be a great loss, and it probably wouldn’t be
an accident either.”
Legalize it so dead black people can vote 25 years after they die.
One must wonder how a minority group - LESS than 20% of the population - can gather on PUBLIC property, have one of ‘their own’ VOTED in as President, have the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of over 300 million people be one of ‘their own’ and have speakers and dignitaries rail at “US” and claim they are in a country where they are not given a chance to get ahead.
I am waiting for one of ‘them’ to slip up and say if voter ID were required, they would NEVER win an election.
Essentially Sharpton is telling us that Voter ID laws disproportionately affect black people because black people are too dumb or too lazy to get an ID like everyone else.

The housing projects in Newark NJ are surrounded by late-model cars; I’m sure they all have current licenses.
In this new global economy I’m glad that I don’t have to compete with this whole counter/subculture that will never get ahead because they’re always looking back. Imagine if we were really competing for jobs with people that are automatically given them because they were black?
