SOUTHFIELD (WWJ/AP) - A local McDonald’s restaurant was forced to close after its employees walked out and hundreds gathered outside to protest for higher wages.
The restaurant on 8 Mile and Lahser roads along the Detroit/Southfield city line was just one location locally where fast food workers are participating in a nationwide “walkout for better wages.”
Over 200 protestors crowded the restaurant, carrying signs that read “We are worth more. Strike for 15,” as in $15 an hour...

If your looking for a goog burger and the 5 guys burger chain is in your area I would recomend it. A little pricey but the food is fresh...............and best of all the staff hasn’t got an attitude, If u know what I mean. ;)
Went to my local McDonalds this morning for breakfast and there was not a problem. Business as usual.
Just fire all the employees and hire new ones. Open up again in a few days.

I do, and it was the New Mexico Supreme Court that ruled they had to take the pictures. The judge was stupid enough to say that "it's the cost of being a citizen". Really? If my beliefs and my religion prevent me from sanctioning gay marriage, where does it say in the Constitution the gov't has the right to force me to subvert my beliefs? Oh...wait...this administration has tossed out the Constitution.

Honestly, I haven't seen much TV this summer. Been way too busy. The only reason I have that I can be on FR so much these days is that I'm due in seven weeks and need to be off my feet.

In the 1990s, McDonalds had a contest in which the winner would receive a two week vacation to...”THE MOTHER COUNTRY!” of central Africa.
This contest was held in heavy black areas only. I saw it in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

A word to the wise:
Pull your business OUT of minority areas.
Screw em. For every striking worker, there are 10 people who would do the same job for a lower wage.
I don’t care for McDonalds, but I believe I will go there today, cross any picket line(which I bet won’t be there) and buy a burger.
