Kim Jong-un's approval rating higher than Barack Obama's
Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, has a public approval rating of over 50 per cent, according to a poll of escapees living in South Korea.

Despite reports of him purging army generals and executing former girlfriends by firing squad, a survey carried out by the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies at Seoul National University on 133 North Korean defectors found that 61.7 per cent believed he had the majority support of his people.
Although not strictly scientifically accurate, as it polls defectors rather than people currently living there, such a result makes him more popular than his father, Kim Jong-il, while it also compares favourably to Barack Obama, who is struggling at 41 per cent approval, and David Cameron, who scored 38 per cent.
Mr Kim is meanwhile said to be keeping up his purge of undesirable elements within the upper echelons of North Korean society with the reported sacking of his hawkish army chief.
Kim Kyok-sik, who is believed to have been behind the sinking of the South Korean corvette Cheonan and the bombardment of Yeonpyeong Island in late 2010, has disappeared from the list of senior regime officials attending public events in recent weeks.
"We are closely watching developments in the North, believing that Kim Kyok-sik has been replaced by Ri Yong-gil, the chief of operations for the Army General Staff," a source in the South Korean government told the Chosun Ilbo newspaper.

Let’s just say that if I had to approve of only one...obama wouldn’t get my vote.
You should, Kim is doing a better job as a commie leader.
In a brutal regime like NK, I am not surprised that his approval rating isn’t 100%.
Maybe Obama should take PR relations advice from Kim:
1) Give Mooch the Hyon treatment
2) Publicly schmooze and discuss policy with Dennis Rodman
In a brutal regime like NK, I am not surprised that his approval rating isnt 100%.
If not 150%.
To be fair, Kim has a very compliant media.
RE: Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, has a public approval rating of over 50 per cent, according to a poll of escapees living in South Korea.
So, if these escapees approve of Kim Jong Un:
1) Why did they escape?
2) Why don’t they go back to a regime they approve of?
3) Why didn’t the pollsters ask the above questions?
I’d be shocked if his approval rating is less than 99%.
Yeah he kill anybody who didn’t give him almost 100%
Barry is so ronery.
Pretty soon, Obama will be scoring Bush popularity ratings.
Hard choice, to be sure...
My read was that they were asked what *other* N Koreans thought. Even though the defectors may not like him, most of them apparently feel that he has majority support.
To give credit where it’s due: President You Didn’t Build That’s hair cut is less funny-looking than Kim’s.
I was watching National Geographics “Inside North Korea” a few weeks ago, and it’s incredible how insane the ideal society of leftists can get if left unchecked, which BTW is where we are headed thanks to RINOs.
Everything and I mean evvverything revolves around “The Dear Leader”. They showed the average North Korean family, and inside their apartment are no photos of their family, only photos of “The Dear Leader” hanging on the walls. It reminded me of that Twilight zone episode “Wish him into the cornfield Anthony” whatever that episode is called where the kid has superpowers and everyone is terrified of him so they constantly kiss his ass.
Here it is if anyone wants to see it......
Give obama enough time, and, say, eight or nine more terms, and he’ll be winning elections with 99.6% of the vote.
Just like his namesake, Saddam Hussein.
