WASHINGTON—Secretary of State John Kerry will make a statement at 12:30 p.m. ET on the situation in Syria, the State Department said, as the U.S. prepares for unilateral military action to punish the regime of Bashar al-Assad for its alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians.
Mr. Kerry will make the statement from the State Department. His remarks follow an abrupt decision by the U.K. not to participate in any military action in Syria and amid calls from members of the U.S. Congress for more information about how the U.S. plans to respond.

If owebama orders an attack on Syria without the approval of Congress it will be an illegal order.
Will our military commanders (the perfumed princes of the Pentagon) who took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States honor their oaths and refuse to carry out this illegal order? Do they care more about their commissions and their pensions than they do about the Constitution?
