Governor Deal is doing a good job. When he was a Congressman from my district, he sent Obozo a letter asking for proof that obozo was Constitutionally qualified to be President. Deal never got a response.
And he got bashed by the libs for it..
If I understand the article correctly, Georgia will require potential Obamacare Exchange employees to take the same examination that a trained insurance agent would have to take . . . despite the fact the potential Exchange employees have zero training in being an insurance agent: theyve taken no courses on the subject, read no books on it, etc.
Georgia will do three things: 1) Require potential Exchange employees to become Navigators; 2) Require them to take the examination for becoming a licensed insurance agent: and 3) Change the name of the examination from Insurance Agent Examination to Navigator Examination. Its Georgias examination; they can call it anything they want.
Its also based on some demographic savvy as to who the potential Exchange employees are likely to be: probably ACORN types, community organizers, et al. What are the odds that such people will muster the self-discipline and ambition to take the same educational route that someone wanting to be an actual insurance agent would take, especially for the sake of passing what is probably a long, tough, boring licensing examination? Shall we say slim?
Its a clever idea. I very much hope it works.
And if the text is in cursive type font it may further weed out the lowfo applicants...
How can any one person, let alone a whole staff of people, know all the rules and regulations contained in the 2000+/- page ACA pas by congress, plus the 20,000+/- pages of regulations created by the HHS? It is impossible. So how can anyone be hired to fill the position of Naigator?
That would be much better than a bunch of ACORN community organizers/activists, which is what we’re going to get otherwise.
Now that’s funny!
I am a Georgia Peach, I am so glad our state is one that will not secumb to Obummercare.
Hi Repeal, I hope you are well.
Thanks for the links. It looks like the Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner will stop any Navigator in Oklahoma. https://www.agencyequity.com/news/863-oklahoma-commission-criticizes-the-navigator-program-as-it-lacks-credentials
Note that obtaining private info is not clerical activity.
We’re moving from VA to AZ. Hope AZ follows GA’s lead.
Except the same dems get privileges and if it don't affect them, they don't care.
It’s a crazy world. I believe Putin of Russia over our president!
I've always loved the South but I don't like the summer humidity. I may have to live with that - there's a lot to love about your state.
Any IRS offices in Georgia?
“And if the text is in cursive type font it may further weed out the lowfo applicants...”
LOL, you mean you have to read to pass the test? That’s bad for the homey types...
Thats why GA is one of the best places to be when the SHTF. :-)
Been their done that and they are tougher than you realize with a failure rate that is pretty high. The only way to pass it to take the classes offered in said state. They are usually 1 week 8 hrs a day and boring as stink @ a fast pace to boot...
Good, oswegodeee. Could your spread the word in GA of a program that lost by one vote in the Michigan Senate that maybe the template against Obummercare?
Go here for starters, somebody has got to run with Pat Colbeck's concept even if it is out of another State..
I have to admit, I am impressed. Georgia is becoming downright SANE in an insane nation.
I also enjoyed all those Atlanta suburbs incorporating and separating themselves from the concentrated Democrat parasite nest, Atlanta.
Poor Democratic babies . . . are they having another hissy fit because people just won’t get with their programs?
Atlanta is a complete loss
Of course the libs bashed Deal for it. What did you expect? Do you think the libs would give him a gold watch?
Why? No one understands the law either.
It'll work until some appointee of Osama Obama,BillyBob or the Peanut Farmer declares it unconstitutional.
Forget Atlanta. The rest of the state is great.
Three words: Honey Boo Boo
Honey Who Who?
I’m thankful that I don’t watch reality TV, otherwise I might be subjected to that mess. :)
RE: Honey Boo Boo....
I have cousins that know them and nieces and nephews that go to school with them.
Those folks are just milking the media for all the $$$ they can get.
That’s what I figure. How can people be that, uh, white trash (is that the phrase I’m looking for?), in real life.
I pity those girls, though. Twelve and 15 years old and 180+ pounds? Are you kidding me? Get off the couch and exercise, girls! Looking at mom, I understand genetics aren’t on their side, but... just sayin’.
Ya’ll in Alaska ain’t all like them guys on those shows like “I’m a catching crabs” and “I’m a diggin’ fer gold”, are you?
All Georgia has to do is to slow roll the certification of the Navigators as long as the IRS has slow rolled answers to requests from Tea Party groups for 501-c-3 charitable status.
The Navigators can’t appeal until they have an answer.
I get seasick on a lake and gold mining is too much hard work.
So...I get the point...LOL!
Those NSA spies got lots of info on lots of politicians.
“...I’ll just call and scream hysterically that I just severed my hand or something and need a bronze plan immediately.”
At which point you will be referred to a metal shop for the fitting of your bronze hand- red hot to cauterize your stump.
You know how Bureaucracies get things wrong.
Really!! Must you torment us with that picture???????
I love Georgia!
This is fantastic, we should go ahead and recommend our own state pulls off the same trick in addition to existing efforts.
“I must be really dense. How does this obstruct Obamacare?”
Its like mister Scott from Star trek said,”The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.”
Obamacare is one hell of a complex and convoluted plan that not even Obama can figure out. Insolently it probably has thousands of “critical points” that our state merely has to disable to bring the whole thing down.
The true purpose of publishing thousands of rules is to create so much chaos for us that we will beg for the “single payer option”, which right now means each person paying for their own ins. plan, but in Orwellian speak we lose our Choice and Big Brother reigns Supreme. We are tenths of a fraction away from that devastating end. I already have my NPI# , which makes controlling each medical professional a push button away.
