“you broke it and now you own it.”

Damned if he (Obama) does and damned if he (Obama) doesn’t.

But he drew a line in the sand! A red line!!

==

It would be funny if it were not so dangerous — his sequester plan caused the military significant budget cutting, and now he needs that military to back up his ‘line in the sand’ bravado.

There are almost no good guys to support in this fight. As you say, if we didn't need the oil we wouldn't need to even show up in this psycho corner of the world.

Drill, Baby, Drill!... and we will be more apt to have Peace, Baby, Peace!!

The real reason we are getting into this conflict is his insistence we stay dependant on ME oil.

The US is not "dependent" on ME oil.

One needs to read up a little on the House of Saud - it is basically married to the US financial / power structure.

The Saudi Royals rule Saudi Arabia as vassals of new world order.

The head of Saudi Intelligence, Bandar bin Sultan, actually is affectionately referred to as Bandar "Bush".

Any concept of Saudi "independence" is a mirage, since they completely rely on the US to stay in power. The greatest fear of the House of Saud is that they would be ousted.

Not to mention that ME oil is currently only a modest percentage of the total amount of oil the US uses.
