Texas Won’t Prosecute Father Who Beat His 5-Year-Old Daughter’s Molester To Death

In rural Lavaca County, Texas, a grand jury refused to indict a father who, when he caught a farm hand attempting to rape his five-year-old daughter, beat the farm hand, accidentally killing him. The incident took place on June 9, near Shiner, Texas. Someone alerted the little girl’s father that Jesus Flores, a farmhand, was seen carrying the little girl to a secluded area.

The father took off in the direction that the farmhand was seen traveling. As he drew closer, he could hear his little girl screaming. When he reached the two, both the farmhand and the five-year-old had their underwear off. The father promptly beat Flores into unconsciousness.

Members of the Lavaca County prosecutor's office announce that an unnamed man will not be prosecuted for killing man who was attempting to rape his daughter.

Only after he was certain that Flores was no longer a threat either to himself or to the little girl did the father place an anguished 911 call seeking help for Flores. Practically weeping, he said to the 911 reporter “I need an ambulance. This guy was raping my daughter, and I beat him up, and I don’t know what to do. *** Come on! This guy is going to die on me. I don’t know what to do.”

Although the county classified Flores’ death as a homicide, the Lavaca grand jury declined to indict him, saying that it was justified homicide. In Texas, deadly force is justified in order to prevent an aggravated sexual assault.

The father’s community was very supportive of him. In Texas, justice is swift and sure, and a child rapist caught in the act by an enraged father doesn’t have many rights.

I don’t think the GJ cared if it was “accidental” or not. He did it to stop a rape. Justified. Shame on the county for calling it “homicide” in the first place.

Any time one person kills another it is a homicide. Not all homicides are unlawful.

Well, the Texas AG is Greg Abbott. He is a level headed guy and a Texan.

You can consider this over.

That little girl may turn sassy for awhile in her teens, but I predict she’ll always respect and admire her father.

Our whole family enjoyed this feel-good story. Death to rapists and other liberal scum.

Some days, you just gotta love Texas.

This is one reason I live in TX.

I so want to move to Texas.

And Texas need common sense people, come on in.

However, liberals stay out, if here, get out.

I lived in E. TX for a bit, and “He needed killin’” was a valid defense. I thought they were kidding (I was quite a bit younger than today). But that expression most certainly applied to dear, departed Jesus.
