President Obama apparently is leaving the door open to moving ahead with a military strike on Syria even if Congress votes against it, adding to the confusion over the presidents evolving position.
The president, in a surprise decision Saturday, announced he would seek a vote in Congress on launching a military attack against the Assad regime.
One senior State Department official, though, told Fox News that the presidents goal to take military action will indeed be carried out, regardless of whether Congress votes to approve the use of force.

McCain, Graham say cannot support limited Syria strikes

US Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham on Saturday said they could not support isolated military strikes on Syria that are not part of a bigger strategy.
“We cannot in good conscience support isolated military strikes in Syria that are not part of an overall strategy that can change the momentum on the battlefield, achieve the president’s stated goal of (Syrian President Bashar) Assad’s removal from power, and bring an end to this conflict, which is a growing threat to our national security interests,” they said in a statement. No one should even bother until the GOP wins back the Senate in 2014.
You can combine both ideas...;-)))
“Who will bring charges?”
Maybe Vladimir Putin.
When entire districts had 120+% turn out with every vote being cast to The Won, and not a single GOPe batted an eye, you expect even one congressional seat to be taken away from a democrat?
HMMMM... great idea for movie...multiple Oscars ....
At the war crimes trial?
Let me buy popcorn futures...
So why ask for the vote?
BO politicizes everything. He’s just looking for a way to blame Republicans cause that’s what his handlers want. He has gone out and read what they want him to and they said if he was a good boy he could go play golf with his little friends. Read speech, pat on the head, off to play. That’s our president.
I’ve thought all along that he is looking for a way to do nothing and put the blame on R’s. He let his alligator mouth overload his hummingbird ass and is looking for a way out

Yes, the door is open and he can leave, please!
The door is open and the welcome mat for America’s enemies is in place.
At least Hitler and his minions had spiffy uniforms with visored hats and arm bands, without a scorecard you cant tell his minions from the rinos.
That is why I was telling people more than 6 years ago that he was the most dangerous man to the US that the world has ever seen, including Hitler and Stalin.
Simply because we knew who and what they were.
