Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg to Officiate Gay Wedding

On Saturday, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will become the first Supreme Court justice to officiate a gay wedding ceremony.

She will wed Michael M. Kaiser, president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and John Roberts (an economist, not her colleague Chief Justice John Roberts, no relation).

"I think it will be one more statement that people who love each other and want to live together should be able to enjoy the blessings and the strife in the marriage relationship," Ginsburg said, according to The Washington Post.

The wedding will take place at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Many Washington bigwigs are expected to be in attendance.

"I can't imagine someone I'd rather be married by," Kaiser said.

The District of Columbia redefined marriage to include same-sex couples in 2010. This Summer, Ginsburg was in the majority in two decisions related to same-sex marriage.

One of those decisions struck down a provision in the Defense of Marriage Act that defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman for the purposes of federal law. The other upheld a lower court decision that struck down California's referendum defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

Ginsburg already has plans to officiate her second gay wedding in September.

So, we all know how Ginsberg will decide if the issue of gay marriage ever reaches the SUPREME COURT.

Doesn’t make it any more valid for me in the senses of God, nor would it have been accepted by the ancient Greeks, even though their whole society was structured around sodomy.

This nation is in a death spiral, and on the chart that reveals how Republics are founded and what particular markers they pass through before dying, ours is in it’s final stages.

As citizens, we either become rededicated and turn this thing around, or our nation will not last another twenty years.

I don't think there was ever any doubt.

When you confirm sodomites on the SC, they will vote for sodomy.

Screw them. When the country was founded, it was a crime against humanity and morals. Take God out of the country, then you have a country of perversion.

Now they want to teach 5 year olds about sex and think that teacher-student sex is ok.

We as a country will be judged by the same God who judged Sodom and Gomorrah. Our leaders are ungodly, choosing the things of this world and rejecting things eternal.

Another signpost in America’s embrace of evil. We’re truly in our county’s waning days, and it’s not pretty.

I’d be surprised if she can stay awake through the entire ceremony.

Ginsburg disgusts me. This ceremony has nothing to do with marriage, just as her judicial rulings have nothing to do with the Constitution.

The only thing worst than marrying the same sex is the frauds on the left who who stand around grinning saying with a lisp, isn’t it just WONDERFUL and HISTORIC.

I have always considered the designation “Supreme Court” an exercise in hubris.
