Official Quoted Saying: Obama's a Coward

Maariv quoted an unnamed diplomatic source in Jerusalem Sunday who bluntly called US President Barack Obama a "coward" for stepping back from an attack on Syria.

"Obama is a coward; it is obvious that he does not want to attack and is looking for reinforcement [for this approach]. It is hard to believe that after Congress turns down his request, he will go on an operation like this on his own, without support from the international community, without the suport of public opinion and without Congress,” the source said.

Maariv says that while Israel's official position on the possible intervention in Syria is a neutral one, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu would very much like to see a limited US strike in Syria, which would bring back credible US deterrence to the region.

Yes he is, but then, he is the leader of the Democrat party.

“....called US President Barack Obama a “coward” for stepping back from an attack on Syria.”

.
I, for one, am happy that he is a coward.

There is no reason for the US to attack Syria and thereby help Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Yeah...Bathhouse Barry is a coward, but I am still glad there is no strike on Syria. Why should we get entangled in such a mess. I am also even more disappointed in Bibi for privately favoring such a strike. Doesn’t Bibi realize that Obama does not like Bibi and Israel and Obama is trying to build a wall of jihad against Israel with his pushing of the Al Qaedian types in Syria and Libya?

I’m no “official” but I too, have said odumbo is a coward, not to mention numerous names. So what does that insult get him, a chance to fire a few rockets to prove he is NOT a coward?

But wait...there’s more...

As Time reports...Obama’s aides made clear that the President’s search for affirmation from Congress would not be binding. He might still attack Syria even if Congress issues a rejection.”

I’d seriously hate to be a janitor working the graveyard shift in Assad’s Intel HQ. Recall what BJ Klinton did to Saddam’s janitors...

“I am also even more disappointed in Bibi for privately favoring such a strike.”

He’s simply acting in the self-interest of Israel. He’s happy to have others intervene with Syria so he may not have to, and that an acceptable position for him to take. OTOH, attacking Syria may well lead to the unwelcome consequence of Syria attacking Israel. Face it, as you point out Obama isn’t a friend of Israel.

If Israel wants to become Syria’s human rights enforcer, it is welcome to do so on its own dime.

People argue with me when I have said other things about Obama. My blast on his cowardice in leaving 40 people to die got no opposition, even from those who are big fans.

When the Brits turned him down, he needed to find a fall guy to blame everything on if the SHTT. Now he is going to take the Constitutional route and try to get Congressional approval. Even if they refuse him, my guess is he will go ahead and bomb Damascus, then if and when things go bad lay the blame at the feet of Congress. Scratch that, Lay the blame at the feet of the House of Representatives. The Senate will give him what he wants. By a vote of something like 65 to 25 With at least 10 Profiles in Courage not voting.

In Benghazi he proved forever that he is a coward. Nothing can change that.

Even if his response is forceful enough to not be mocked?
