John Kerry, the American secretary of state, has said that the United States now has evidence of sarin gas use in Syria and said "the case gets stronger by the day" for a military attack.
President Bashar al-Assad, he said, "has now joined the list of Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein" in deploying chemical weapons against his population.
A day after President Barack Obama stepped back from his threat to launch an attack, Mr Kerry said in a series of interviews on the Sunday news shows that the administration had learnt of the sarin use within the past 24 hours through samples of hair and blood. The samples were provided to Washington by activists in Damascus, independently of the UN investigation.
Mr Kerry also said he was confident that Congress will give Mr Obama its backing for an attack against Syria, but he also said the president has authority to act on his own if Congress doesn't give its approval. While Mr Kerry stopped short of saying Mr Obama was committed to such a course even if politicians refuse to authorise force, he did tell ABC's This Week that "we are not going to lose this vote."
Congress is scheduled to return from a summer break on Sept. 9.

* With the known "signatures" of the Sarin gas, WHO manufactured it?
* If the Sarin gas was stockpiled, who controlled the stockpile?
* Is this one of the chemical weapons moved from Iraq by the Russians in 2003? Did the US issue these weapons to Iraq years ago?
* Who manufactured the Sarin gas delivery system?

The time for military action was one year ago in Benghazi when Americans were in harms way. That’s when Bammy should have donned his bomber jacket and kicked arse. Instead the IMPOTUS went to bed.

Isn’t it amazing that all the things the RATs wrongly accused GWB of doing, they are doing now in spades? Cowboy, world’s policeman, acting alone ... the list goes on.

And went on a secret CIA Christmas mission into Cambodia for president Nixon (before he was even inaugurated). It’s seared into his memory. Then he got a couple scratches, awarded himself some medals and sent himself home. At home, the coward turned traitor, threw his medals over the White House fence and joined the anti-war crusade to surrender to the commies. Now he’s working for a commie (who never served) but both of them are NOW gung-ho and have balls larger than any combat marine and are calling for all out wahr by God!! This is America!! Our commie president drew a red line and someone (we don’t know exactly who) but someone stepped over it and someone MUST DIE!!

Is it just my suspicious, cynical nature about these photos of poison gas victims or do they appear posed? Shouldn’t the people around the bodies be wearing some type of hazmat gear? It’s not like islamists are above faking photos, we’ve seen it many times.

Nor does it mean it was military grade or home cooked.
Remember the rag tag Japanese terrorists who released sarin gas
on a train. If a rag tag group can make or obtain sarin gas, who is to say
a much more well funded and well organized Jihadist Syrian Rebels did
not do the same.
I know chemical weapons are horrific, but so is a saw to the neck, a .44 to the head, a hangrenade in the humvee, etc. Dead is dead. Maimed is maimed.
So John F’n Kerry was for Congressional approval before he was against it (when they vote down approval for King Zero’s military adventure). Just getting the headline in early for the “news” media.
