His answer was "To what end?"

He points out correctly that it would take an enormous amount of time and effort to pass it in the house, only to fail in the Senate. In the meantime, the energy they are putting in to fight every other issue would be put aside. (paraphrasing here)

It’s a good answer. Many on FR won’t be happy to hear it.

Here's what the Congressman needs to know: Character is about doing what is right. . .not doing something based upon a prediction of results.

The Congressman did nothing but make Boehner-like excuses. ."we can't get er done". . "Wahhhh. .Waaaahhhh". . What a bunch of wusses!! If this guy had been faced with the decision whether or not to sign the Declaration of Independence, I'm sure he would have been peeing in his pants over George III and his big army. . thank God there were real men in 1776!

I say fire the wuss and replace him, on the spot, with that young man asking the question.

We already have enough laws. What else does CONgress have to do other than start the proceedings? Let the Senate fail to impeach after all the “phony” scandals are publicly discussed. Hell, worst case scenario is the House stops spending money for a while as they work on this.

Fighting what issues? All we have is hearings with no actions. Or caving on issues and Boner making deals and a lot of golf playing. What issues have been fought that Obummer didn’t get what he wanted? All I see is excuses.

It would tie up Congress for months - so they couldn’t Obama’s program moving forward. We can’t have that.

What is his position on the Sen. Lee approach to defunding Obamacare with the CR?

I emailed that question last week (he’s my Rep.) and I received a fairly long email reply identifying several aspects of his anti-ACA position, but he never explicitly answered the question.

Interesting. Wonder if you called and asked an aid what they’d say.

At the risk of being tagged with a most unfortunate label, I believe the most obvious answer is because it would most probably launch an instant Race War in the USA.

With very, very few exceptions most blacks I knew personally enough to get a straight answer from when I asked them why they voted for obama simply answered bluntly " 'Cause he black." It did not matter that he was only partially of african descent, it only mattered that he had a very good chance to achieve the office with the best ancestral credentials and political positions that appealed to most blacks.

OJ simpson was ruled not guilty of murder. Blacks throughout the nation were hysterical with joy. Non-blacks were stunned at the verdict. And the likely possibility of blacks rioting in every major city was averted for the moment.

Aaron hernandez is being charged with at least one count of murder, but in his case he might actually have a valid verdict come down in his case because Hispanics are not known for rioting, at least to any large extent, when a hispanic goes to prison. I will leave others to speculate as to why that is.

Most understand that (o)bam-a will sail through both of his current terms and most probably more afterwards with no one daring to threaten him, partly because he is a chicago thug in truth and plays by their "rules", partly because he can, like b.Clint(o)n did, use every agency in existance to go after anyone that annoys him, and finally because when you get past everything else...

"He black."

His answer was "To what end?"

Since he asked a question back, the answer is:

To what end?

To tie the Kenyan Marxist packer up in knots, inundating him with millions of pages of subpoenas, weeks of damaging testimony from tons of unexpected witnesses, causing hundreds of sleepless nights and an unavoidable flood of news stories to be covered by the foreign press who hate him.

Thus slowing his ability to wage war on the American People.

Next question Congressman?

Here is a no info voter...........my husband was getting his hair cut today, conversation with hair tech turned to Obama......she was fully tattooed and greenish hair. Hubby asked her if she voted for Obama which she replied “yes” then said she was sorry she did, “but one thing for sure, I’m not going to vote for him the next time”

For the DemocRATs, this was a strong motivation to put him in the Oval office. "Race War' is a wonderful threat for them to use. The DemocRATs have cowed the opposition from doing their duty and prosecuting them all like the riff raff criminal gangsters they truly are.

We are going to have this fight over him sooner or later. Better now than later.

All mine can say is he’s against shutting down the government. He is ignorant of the group to defund Obamacare, evidently, even calls it the Affordable Health Care Act. And, he’s a Republican!!

I hope we vote him out!! Slim chance though.
