Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday said he cant contemplate that Congress would not authorize military action against the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad and therefore turn its back on the United States allies in the region and on innocent Syrian people who have been slaughtered by this gas.
Host Chris Wallace asked Kerry on "Fox News Sunday" what would happen if Congress refused to give its authorization for military action in Syria, and Kerry replied that he does not believe that will happen.

But it will turn its back on the American people?
And the Benghazi Ambassador.
Pray for America to Wake Up
No, of course not. We owe it to them to bomb them.
Jordan has a large number of refugees with fighters recruiting in Jordan .
No doubt about it!
Never had the mettle to look us in the eye anyway, right McCain?
Remember “Nam” Skerry?
Kerry sure as hell turned HIS back on the Vietnamese people when he had the chance. and the American people. He’s nothing but a cowardly communist-loving traitor.
But they turned their back on the American people numerous times! Kerry is trying to incite a riot with talk like that. What in the hell is wrong with these government elite?
Um, what about the Syrians that aren’t so innocent? There’s a lot that Kerry can’t contemplate. I saw the Fox interview, and he seemed dumber than usual.
I don’t want our troops fighting alongside those that flew planes into our buildings on 911.
But has no problem turning his effete back on the American people..
Obozo’s week long media attack to make Congress a rubber stamp or a bunch of do nothings who justify his dictatorship. If he can pull this 8th grade gambit, we really have lost the nation. It’s time to boil the W0n and his media.
If we help them they won’t be grateful and will hate us. If we, as Sarah Palin says, let Allah sort it out, they will just hate us.
Which ones?
You mean the way his predecessor and Obama turned their back on our people in Benghazi?
The US certainly turned its back on Americans murdered in Benghiza.
Interesting, the intel agencies have all this evidence on Assad but know
NOTHING about Benghazi.
Stop the insanity. Let Arab Countries and Allah sort it out.
“the United States allies in the region”
We don’t have any allies in the region except Israel (and the administration aims them harm).
Every last one of those muzzie b@stards in Syria, no matter which side they’re on they hate us and the Israelis, and they want us dead. Among the savage lot of them there isn’t much to choose.
Sick of Americans dying for years to protect the lives of the most ungrateful people on Earth.
How about the South Viet people, John ?

Nowhere are her talents more brilliantly on display than in her Pulitzer Prizewinning bestseller The Guns of August (1962), a riveting account of the outbreak of World War I and the weeks of fighting leading up to the First Battle of the Marne in September 1914. Tuchman dramatizes the diplomatic debacles that precipitated the war and the intransigence of the German and French armies as they dogmatically adhered to their battle plans, with disastrous consequences. Interwoven with her vivid re-creation of the German march through Belgium into France and the fierce fighting on the Eastern Front are astute characterizations of the conflicts key military and political leaders, among them French General Joseph Joffre, German Kaiser Wilhelm II, and British First Lord of the Admiralty Winston Churchill. The Guns of August can also be read as a cautionary study in the perils of brinksmanship, and Tuchmans searching observations about the irrational escalation of conflict among states made a deep impression on President John F. Kennedy, who famously drew on the book for insight during the Cuban Missile Crisis. In a deluxe readers edition for the first time in more than a generation, The Guns of August is presented here with ten fully restored color maps and sixteen pages of photographs.
