Tens of thousands of cancer patients have to visit their family doctor three or more times before being referred to hospital, amid concerns that care is declining in parts of the country.
A survey of more than 70,000 people eventually diagnosed with cancer found that more than a quarter had seen their GP at least three times before being sent to a specialist, with one in ten having to make five or more visits.
One in six made three or four visits before being referred, one in five saw their GP twice and just over half only had to make one visit to their surgery.
Patients with rarer cancers had to wait longer for a referral, as more than a third of patients with cancers of the brain, blood or soft tissue had to make at least three visits to their GP.

Full socialized medicine is the goal of Obamacare -- the ACA is making it unfeasible for most businesses to continue to pay for health insurance for their employees, so more and more will be forced into government run "exchanges" and soon all we will have is government controlled "healthcare system".
The nightmare scenarios that have occurred in the Canadian healthcare system as well as the UK NHS will happen to us.
