Wasserman Schultz: Colorado Recalls 'Blatant Attack on Our Democratic Principles'
breitbart ^ | 9/1/13 | AWR Hawkins

Posted on 09/01/2013 8:28:06 PM PDT by Nachum

Democrat National Committee Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) says the coming recall elections of Colorado state senators John Morse (D) and Angela Giron (D) are "a blatant attack on our Democratic principles."

Voters are trying to recall Morse and Giron because of their support of gun control laws that banned rifle and pistol magazines larger than 15 rounds, banned shotgun magazines larger than eight rounds, and mandated a background check on every gun sale in the state, i.e., universal background checks.

The laws also contained a new fee that will be added to every gun sale to pay for the background checks. Coloradans behind the recall see this fee as a new tax that future Democrats will be able to raise as they please to drive up the cost of buying a gun.

Voters are trying to recall Morse and Giron because the passage of these laws displeased constituents.

The voters are exercising their rights as voters. That's the way it works. If you're a prick as a politician, you are subject to losing your job.

She misspoke, she meant to say “the recalls are an attack on our unprincipled Democrats.” But then you have to consider the source: “Old Mayonnaise Hair.”

"a blatant attack on our Democratic principles."

Yes, exactly.

It's mob rule we are attacking, using republican principles, since this is not a democracy.

The Colorado recall is undemocratic. Let's take a little trip back in recent history and see how she felt about another recall effort involving Gov. Scott from Wisconsin.

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has said Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s “attacks on workers’ and women’s rights are the definition of a fireable offense” and that recalling him would “[send] a powerful message to the far-right extremists.”

Hmmm, interesting.

No, elected Democrat officials fleeing the state of Wisconsin, and union members bused in to storm the statehouse and disrupt the legislative process in Wisconsin, is a "blatant attack on our democratic principles."

The democratic party platform has always been built out of planks made of pure unadulterated bullshit which is why they are incapable of actually standing on their own platform, they just sink in it.

The recall for Giron in Pueblo started with early voting on Friday in one location. An additional 10 centers for early voting will open on Sept. 5th. There is some sort of issue with a Libertarian candidate wanting on the ballot for the recall of Morse, so in Colorado Springs they are not doing early voting and the election is Sept 10th. That’s the latest information I have:)
The Republican going against Giron is George Riveria and Bernie Herpin (R) is up against Morse (D).

Recall seems extremely democratic.

A Democrat principal is to negate the Constitution and establish tyranny. In that case the recall does attack the principles of the Democrats. She is nearly (if accidentally) correct.

What date is the recall election?

And where and how many times can I vote in it? Will busses be provided? Do I have to register before voting; or do "provisional ballots" count?

Will the votes be counted over and over until the "correct" result is reached? Are there "extra" ballot boxes stashed in car trunks and court house basements, to be miraculously "found" if the recounting isn't enough to get the job done?

Since she's never seen any of those things as "an attack on our democratic principles", then it must be legal in her eyes, if we do it.

Not that we would; that would violate our own principles.

Another dumb Democrat turd heard from. This woman makes Roseanne Barr seem like a genius.

I heard rumors that a Florida coconut hit her in the head when she was young, resulting in permanent brain damage, which seems to be a requirement for Florida Democratic politicians. Alan Grayson? Anyone want to challenge me on his sanity? Thought not!

IF Wasser-Putz had a sister, she’d be named Helen Thomas. And would smell like her too.

"a blatant attack on our Democratic principles."

Okay, another fixer-roo is in order. "a blatant attack on our Democrat Party principles."

One princple is the rachet effect principle: Thou shalt never go back. Once a Democrat Party principle is enshrined in law, it is there forever. In this case, it is public disarmament that is the eternal principle.

A second principle is: We never lose elections. When Democrats come up short on votes, step one is voter fraud, file suit and try to "find lost votes". Corollaries kick in when even not enough "lost votes" can be found, in which case voters had a tantrum, or were duped by slick marketing, or "outside forces" came in and overturned the will of the people, or voters were racist, stupid, didn't understand their true interests. In any case, the Democrats never, ever lose an election.
