“Thank God our Founding Fathers didn’t throw their hands up and quit because of the odds being overwhelmingly against them!”

Yeah you are correct, they did not throw up their arms or sign a petition....they FOUGHT a WAR....

Petitions will get you NO where.... They are feel good ink blots

So I’ll ask you then, what exactly are YOU doing to make sure Obamacare is defunded??? Seriously, I’m very much open to your suggestions.

Oh, and for your information... Thanks to the Tea Party and the NRA, we were successful in stopping the gun control legislation that everybody said was all but certain to pass the Senate. And thanks to the Tea Party and the Heritage Foundation, we were able to stop the Farm Bill from passing a record number of new food stamp subsidies. Not to mention, our efforts also prevented the Senate from garnering they key number of 70 votes for the amnesty bill in the Senate and now the bill appears to be stalled with the big budget battle showdown in Washington this fall.

When enough of us are making noise, our voices DO matter!

If you think Sen Cruz, the driver of this petition, is going nowhere, check again.

Actually, in some ways things were the same back then. The majority in the First Continental Congress, 1774, were against the more hawkish in New England, and specifically in MA of all places... and sent a petition to King George. He of course rejected it, and most of the petitioners later joined the others to arms...

They wrote quite a few things, including petition before they fought a war.

Hope to see you at the front when the bullets begin to fly.
