I hated the 3 round bursts on the AR15s, even.

I can see full auto on a rifle at very close range. House to house fighting, in other words.

Other than that...nope. Stick to semi-auto.

Heck, I think they should change the MP5 to 2 round burst.. I am out of the action now though, so I have no say..

Correct. Fully automatic rifles would be effective in only very thick cover and other rare, close circumstances in real warfare. In most close range civilian defense situations, a shotgun would probably be better, in my opinion.

Semi-auto is more effective for most longer range defense situations (which long range civilian situations are also extremely rare). Besides, firing full auto, for most, looks like more fun in the movies than it is in reality (very boring, in my opinion--almost as boring as demo classes and ranges in the Army).
