On three national television programs on Sunday, Secretary of State John Kerry repeated an argument President Barack Obama had made on Saturday when Obama announced that he wanted Congress to authorize him to use military force in Syria.
The president does not need authorization from Congress to initiate acts of war, Kerry said.
He has the right to do that no matter what Congress does, Kerry said on CNNs State of the Union. That is his right and he asserted that in his comments yesterday.
The President has the right and he has asserted that right that he could do whats necessary to protect the national security of the United States at any point in time, said Kerry.

I want impeachment real bad. He has no authority beyond the constitution and he admitted it by going there in the first place. He needs to be impeached as the worst president ever. TERRIBLE president
Kerry = moron speak.
Remember Kerry “ Let UN Sanctions work before any action into Iraq “ ?
Where is Boner on this? Tight lipped nitwit.
Syrians have a right not to be wantonly bombed by a golf playing narcissist.
"no constitutional authority ... to take this nation to war against a county of 70 million people unless we're attacked or unless there is proof we are about to be attacked. And if he does, if he does, I would move to impeach him."
All I know for sure, is that it is a national disgrace that Kerry holds any office.
And then horse-face said, what are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?
50 USC § 1541 - Purpose and policy
(c) Presidential executive power as Commander-in-Chief; limitation
The constitutional powers of the President as Commander-in-Chief to introduce United States Armed Forces into hostilities, or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, are exercised only pursuant to
(1) a declaration of war, (nope, ain't got that)
(2) specific statutory authorization, or (nope, ain't got that - yet)
(3) a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces. (nope, that didn't happen... unlike 9/11/01)
Call it a day, barky. We're not in the mood.
Kerry certainly is a two faced horse face.
Funny, but I just don’t recall him making these kind of statements for unilateral bombings during the ‘04 debates with Bush.
Article I, Section 8, Johnnyboy. Read it and weep.
Or H0lder could try Assad in Federal Court in Manhattan.
Does this pass the global test?
But I think Rand Paul says it best: How do you ask a man to be the first to die for a mistake?

John Kerry, who came a few thousand Ohio voters short of being Commander in Chief of our Armed Forces:
“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you dont, you get stuck in Iraq.”
These buffoons keep coming out with one lie after another and all the republicans can do is sit quietly on the sideline.
And I have a right to call Kerry a giant a-hole. Go back to Vietnam you lying sack of shiittee
