Yesterday was Skyraider’s passing, two years gone.

I was looking through his cruise book from the USS Essex (CV-9) from 1951-52. Shocking to see how young those boys were, back then...

(((HUGS))) I cherish the memories I have of my loved ones who are gone. I graduated from high school in 1950. I am more your Dad’s age. I remember some went into service right out of high school.

That’s exactly what Skyraider did; Class of ‘48. Great Lakes, Memphis, then on board the big boat.
