“He likes his job and wants to keep it.”

He likes his life, and the life of his family.

Like Betrayus, Dempsey probably has a squeeze on the side.
And Zero has the file.

But in doing so, would a reversal in his position be now like lying through his teeth?

BINGO!

A lot of them, along with their families, have been threatened.

Did you see the video of the hearing (it was on CNN) where Kerry (after blabbing nonsensically for a few minutes) turns to the General, and says "would you like to add your comments here General?".

The General says, "Thanks for the offer, but no, I don't have anything to say."

Senior generals have to support the Commander in Chief or resign. I would prefer that more resign, but that would give Obama more chances to promote his flunkies into positions of power, so we are not looking at a lot of good options here.

Do you think the Commandant of the US Marine Corps really liked the idea of “stepping out smartly” when the President and Congress ordered him to accept gays openly in the Corps?

We’re in perilous times. The steel supports of the Republic are cracking. It is impossible to say what will happen in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

I hope you aren’t right.

Sad, indeed, if that is what it has come to.
