Matthews...asked if Yoho questioned Obama’s legitimacy. Yoho said “No. He’s been under enough scrutiny. We need to move on from that,” and even pointed to a recent town hall meeting in which the president’s birth certificate came up.
Matthews asked Yoho: “So you accept the fact that he’s a born American,” to which the Sunshine State pol said “no comment.”
“No comment?” Matthew said. “In other words, you question the president’s legitimacy.”
When pressed further, Yoho said “I haven’t studied it enough to spend the time on it to come back with an intelligent answer, so I will not respond.” He added when the U.S. gets Syria and the debt crisis are solved, “I’d be happy to talk to you.”
The Hardball host asked if Yoho was a birther.
“No comment,” said Yoho.

ping to Ted Yoho appearing to take seriously the evidence he has seen from Zullo and whatever discussions he has had with Stockman.
Yoho tries to lead with how he is moving past questioning Barry’s legitimacy during the Syria crisis and budget issues, but can’t deny he has doubts and won’t deny that further investigation might be warranted.
Off-topic, but... your handle would not happen to be related to a Metal band known for its “Hold The Pig Steady” number, would it now?

I’ll cut Yoho some slack. He only got onto Zullo’s evidence (hopefully the new, improved secret evidence) in the past few weeks and only a congressional subpoena can crack the Hawaii and federal agency firewall protecting Barry, which will take months, IMO!

Scary is that we have folks now on FR who support the MSNBC Anti-Birther view...and now attacking Obama Eligibility folks in a false guise (or black ops-style attack) to help Ted Cruz
Of course, proving Obama ineligible actually helps Ted Cruz....because it means a legal precedent has been set for Presidential eligibility with Obama.
I hope the Obama Supporters go after Cruz on eligibility....we can then get that Obama Hawaii Birth Certificate under rules of discovery (if it really exists)

IIRC, on the tape of Yoho’s town hall meeting, Yoho said that Stockman called him up and asked him if he would support a “bill” to investigate Barry’s background or some such. The “bill” reference was obviously a mistake because a “bill” would have to be passed in the Reid controlled senate signed by Barry himself!
But I agree that Yoho acting like “the cat that ate the canary” with Chris Matthews supports a LIVE ongoing effort by at least a few house members to get an investigation going. MSNBC and the Fogblowers are certainly acting concerned about it while they hide behind the usual mockery.
