37 ... And, by the way, no one really cares how many degrees a person has, either. All they are is an indication that one can complete a task. It is no indication that knowledge was actually acquired. ...

1835-1910 – Samuel “Mark Twain” Clemens

 “I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.”

1874–1965 - Winston Churchill

 “If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain.”

 “Schools have not necessarily much to do with education... they are mainly institutions of control, where basic habits must be inculcated in the young. Education is quite different and has little place in school.”

One thing he or she has not yet learned, apparently, is how to treat others with respect. An essential tool in life is missing from his well-traveled toolbox. OR, blatant narcissism is taking over.

Yeah I kinda like FDR myself.

"I regard reduction in Federal spending as one of the most important issues in this campaign. In my opinion it is the most direct and effective contribution that Government can make to business." "Campaign Address on the Federal Budget at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, October 19, 1932."

He’s not one of my favorite people... but the country loved him during the war.

When I think of “great” Presidents, it’s a short list:

Reagan, Teddy R, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, and George Washington.

Just FYI Professor, I do not refer to The Mombasa MF by any cute names. He is a Marxist SOB of dubious antecedents who would never be elected to anything in a functional nation.

As an historian, you must realize by now that Eisenhower was not only a fairly good President especially compared to this one, but that the country has been on an progressively downward spiral since St. John, Holy Martyr of Hyannis stole the election of 1960, immediately plunging us into war (against Eisenhower's advice) on a "no-win" basis and a "celebrity" style of governance that has led us to ruin.

Culturally speaking, the older population of the country is quite diverse. Many can be forgiven for lamenting the ruin of a country that was a well-off and functional nation until quite recently in historical terms. Many of us are boring old farts, but I must say you show every sign of becoming "quod sum, tu eris" yourself.
