Don't Get in Bed With Code Pink--They Have Blood of U.S. Soldiers on Their Hands
Thursday, September 5, 2013 | Kristinn Taylor

Posted on 09/05/2013 8:00:25 AM PDT by kristinn

The Obama administration’s unpopular bid to bomb Syria over chemical weapons attacks has given the leftist anti-American group Code Pink new life from sympathetic media and new fans on the right.

Screengrab by Breitbart

Code Pink waved blood-red painted hands in the air behind Secretary of State John Kerry, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, at the House hearing on Syria this Wednesday. Conservatives opposed to waging war on Syria have taken to Twitter cheering Code Pink for the group’s protests during the joint testimony of Kerry, Hagel and Dempsey this week before respective House and Senate committees.

Jessica Chasmar‏@JessicaChasmar I'm seriously loving Code Pink right now.

Ξ BLACK REPUBLICAN Ξ‏@blackrepublican I must give it to @codepink ..unlike the other anti-war frauds who only show up when Republicans are in office; at least they are consistent

Mary McKlemurry‏@msmarymac510 @TeaPartyBoise I did notice Code Pink kicked in and those red palms behind Lurch - proud of them this time!

While some on the right express common cause with Code Pink, they need to remember what Code Pink has done to our soldiers and who the group has worked with in their ten-year existence.

Briefly, Code Pink supported the genocidal terrorist regime of Saddam Hussein, even giving blood to Saddam’s government. After the U.S. toppled Saddam and occupied Iraq in 2003, Code Pink allied with the “resistance”, going so far as to give aid to what Code Pink called “the other side” in Fallujah as Marines fought to clear that Iraqi city of al Qaeda terrorists.

On the home front Code Pink took to protesting at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, waging psychological warfare on wounded warriors, their families and hospital staff--calling them war criminals and terrorists. Code Pink raised funds off the Fort Hood massacre, justifying the terrorist attack as a protest against the war in Afghanistan by an officer.

Code Pink has worked with Islamist terrorists, state sponsors of terrorism, the Democratic Party and President Barack Obama in opposition to the United States in the war on Islamist terror.

Just because you see Code Pink protesting the Obama administration, don’t fall for the political theater. They are peas in a pod.

They also went to Egypt to give the MB/al Qaeda their
start.

Many crucifixions, beheadings and slave-taking followed.
NONE was reported by the MSM which continues to
falsely portray al Qaeda as the “victim”.

The idea of getting into bed with them. Why did you do that to us?

It is insane that they are on the same side of the issue as many Republicans and conservatives.

This is a situation where we agree with the anti-war far left. The situation is such that we’re on the same side now, and will oppose each other on plenty of stuff in the future.

While we oughtn’t get in bed with Code Pink, we certainly oughtn’t get in bed with Al Qaeda in Syria either.

So, we can have a principled opposition to the arming of Al Qaeda, and oppose becoming their air force, without espousing the idiocy of Code Pink.

Correct?

Code Pink gave money to terrorists.
While it is amusing that they chumped Kerry, avoid them at all costs.

"Code Pink, Assad, and Putin are not pro-American conservatives."

Neither is the Al Nusra Front (Al Qaeda in Syria).

So what say we refuse to support either group of bad guys?

Maxim 29. The enemy of my enemy is my enemy’s enemy. No more. No less.

A stopped clock is right at least once a day. (24 hour clock).

Code pink is anti-American. but as long as they are harassing my opponent, I will not stop them. Does not mean I support them. Does not mean I will pass-up an opportunity to do them harm.

I will nuke a bag of popcorn and watch the show.

Don’t get in bed with the “Free Syrian Army” either:

Agreed, this is nothing but a typical Alinsky tactic. You better support our pointless ego war or you're just like code pink.

Code pink are scum but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy watching the dog attack its marxist master.

interesting reading
look up Ahmad Jabar the “new” “elected” chief of the Syrian opposition
“Former political prisoner” but he sure bounced in and out of Syrian jail and quickly- not much time served for a political foe of such an oppressive regime

Look at who backs him (tribal ties- Saudi Arabia)

Look at when Jabar met with John Kerry (July) and with the French govt (obama’s only “coalition” partner so far)- July

Look at what he asked for and what they promised him (stepped up aid - and weapons)

the chemical attack occurred on 21 August

some reports claim the Saudis provide the agent/weapons that were used by “rebel fighters” who didn’t know how to even handle them

why is obama so eager to get the USA into a civil war (really a proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia) - NOW - urgently?

why does Kerry say “Arabs” will pay for the war?

connect the dots?

There are two times it is unwise to attack an opponent. One, when he is destroying himself; two, when he agrees with you.

It is more important to stop this war than to maintain purity with respect to Code Pink. Their mockery of Kerry is cheer-worthy. It was not easy for anyone to get a photo of him yesterday without bloody hands raised behind him.

Yeah, they used to demonstrate on the sidewalk in front of the US Marine’s storefront recruiting office in Berkley, and my pickup truck seemed to always want to park there when I drove by.

Point appreciated.

However, when you are up against a bunch of Alinskyites, you can’t afford to miss opportunities to play the game by their rules.

The Mujahadeen were slimy characters as well, but Reagan made his peace with working with them in order to deliver the Soviets a bloody nose.

I say turn ‘em loose and let them do the heavy lifting. Will throw the Democrat Party into absolute turmoil.

I read this earlier and wanted to respond to your article at more length. I respectfully disagree with you. None of us are “getting into bed” with code pink. Literally or figuratively. This is just one of those weird times when some of the lunatics happen to be on our side. It happens. And we should take advantage of it when it occurs. We might even be able to talk to them somewhat rationally for a brief time. Who knows?

We don’t have so much of a luxury of picking our allies these days. The plain fact is that the forces aligned in favor of starting what could become WWIII are legion, well organized, and pretty much in political control. This isn’t the sort of situation where you worry, as did the character in the movie “The Patriot”, about THOSE kind of people.

You noted in your article that code pink “have the blood of US soldiers on their hands.” Really? Or was that just a little bit of overzealous hyperbole on your part? I’m not aware of any member of code pink who has physically harmed anyone. And they are not in a position of political control, so it’s not as if people under their orders did anything. What they are guilty of so far as I can tell is sympathizing with political views that we find repugnant, extremely poor taste, lousy judgement, and being ugly. On the positive side, I must admit that they have some intestinal fortitude to hold “bloody” hands up to political leaders regardless of party.

So while I’m not advocating lying down with these folks in any sense, I think we do ourselves no favors by pre-emptively excluding those who agree with us.

As I’ve noted on FR threads in the past regarding infanticide: I wouldn’t give a damn if the person who cast the deciding vote to get rid of infanticide was a militant pagan lesbian. It just wouldn’t matter. The end result is just too important.
