President Obama, arriving Thursday in Russia, anticipated a lively two-day G20 summit, during which he’ll reprise his lobbying for international airstrikes against Syria with President Vladimir Putin, an ally of the Assad regime, as well as other world leaders.
Russia said it compiled a report asserting that Syrian rebels were behind a chemical weapons attack in March near Aleppo, according to the McClatchy news service. The 100-page report, which Russia said it delivered to the United Nations in July, runs counter to U.S. claims that the regime of Bashar al-Assad has been behind chemical attacks in Syria, including a mass killing near Damascus in August.
A White House spokesman, traveling with reporters from Sweden to St. Petersburg, described Obama’s pending discussions with Putin as “interactions.”

I am beginning to worry that Putin just feels sorry for us with that total incompetent in the WH. I suspect Putin would rather have a worthy opponent in the USA rather than the embarrassment that calls himself ‘President’.

Already in the past week Gen. Martin Dempsey, head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, pointed to the heedlessness of Obama administration. He told ABC: "The simple use of weapons, without a precise strategy, such as the use contemplated, probably never leads to the conclusion that we imagine."
General James Mattis said: "If the Americans actually perform such an operation, then that is a brutal, very, very serious war. "
Another active officer said: "What political end do we want to achieve? I do not know what it is.

SUMMING UP Obama's got no NATO support, no US support, no Arab League support (for military action), no big powers support, and little or no support from the non-worshipful-citizen types.

The inevitable result of a Syrian bombing will be the Muslim Brotherhood, and associated terrorist groups, triumphant in Syria, and the genocide of the remaining Christians there.
No question----the savage Muslims want Assad deposed b/c he tolerates Christians.
A triumphant Muslim dictatorship in his place will annihilate Christians.

WHY DOES THIS FOOL WANT TO BOMBARD SYRIA? Obama's trying to change the topic. He's apparently still miffed about Gen al-Sisi defending Egyptian Christians against marauding Muslims....stopped them cold in their tracks.
al-Sisi's actions against Muslims (apparently succesful) was given full backing by Arab world leaders who jetstreamed billions to al Sisi to help get the job done. al-Sisi also got backing from Russia's Putin and China.
At the height of the crisis, when vacationing Ohoho tried to call al-Sisi, the general refused to take his call---showing al-Sisi's determination not to let Ohoho interfere in the plan to drive Muslims out of Egyptian politics.
Al-Sisi's got the lay of the land---he knows who's got the ear of our Muslim president.
