And seeing as how there is zero American interest or national security at stake in this current civil war in Syria, it's all about regime change and building strength and power for al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood in the region and, in fact, is directly against the interests of America and our allies. This is treason!!
The congress must uphold its oath to abide by the constitution. Deny his request American involvement. And if Obama goes ahead and attacks Syria without congressional approval as he has threatened to do, the congress must move IMMEDIATELY to IMPEACH and REMOVE the president!!
Quislings like Graham must be voted OUT or charged with aiding and abetting treason and expelled!!
Well said, Jim.
This entire fiasco in Syria is the Syrians mess. We don’t belong there nor should we take military action over CBW use, we are not the world police.
The support for Obummer’s use of military force from Graham, McCain or any other Repub or Dem is treasonous and like you say, if Obummer acts without approval of Congress he should be impeached.
Like Sarah Palin said, “Let Allah sort it out.”
We definitely should not be assisting al Qaeda, the MB or any other radical muslims that have been killing Americans for years.
Word of the Day: Quisling (Noun)
Pronunciation: [’kwiz-ling]
Definition: A traitor who turns against his or her own country to serve an invader.
Usage: This is a relatively new word so far without lexical offspring. The adjective would be “quislingly” which sounds odd. Better use the compound “quisling-like.” It sounds queer as a verb, too, though its meaning lends itself readily to verbalization in the sense of “betray to an invader.”
Suggested Usage: For those of us who remember World War II, today’s word is a powerful condemnation in its literal sense, “The French partisans were always at risk of betrayal by quislings in their area.”
Etymology: A commonization of the last name of Vidkun Quisling (1887-1945), head of Norway’s government during the Nazi occupation of World War II. Of all the heads of European states who chose to subserve the Nazi regime in World War II, Quisling was the misfortunate one commemorated for his weakness throughout the European languages.
If Congress votes down this ridiculous resolution, and 0bama orders the strike anyway, the military MUST uphold their oath to the Constitution. They must REFUSE to follow an unlawful order!
