GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (CBS Charlotte/AP) South Carolina U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham says hes convinced that Syrian President Assad used chemical weapons on his own people.

Graham told reporters in Goose Creek on Tuesday that taking action against Syria in response to the situation is not a question of yes or no, but rather a question of bad or worse choices.

BS. What would really convince Iran to stop developing nucs is to get rid of Obama and get a real CIC.

To late Linseed, Iran stopped worrying about a U.S. response the day Zero took up residency. The only people that believe anything Zero says are ..... now wait there must be someone, maybe Reggie? No, Chrissy, Chrissy believes anything Zero says.

If the bad guys DID hit Charleston with a nuke, it’d mess up the ecology of the Gulf of Mexico for years.

He says if there is no U.S. response, Iran will not believe America’s resolve to block Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Graham also says those nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists could result in a bomb coming to Charleston Harbor.

So, let me understand fully, Senator Sword-swallower:

Unless we initiate an action which will inevitably lead to global thermonuclear war in which the likely outcome is the extinction of all humanity.....

..... there is a small chance a terrorist will blow up a jury-rigged nuke that may or may not work in one of our ports.

Do I have this straight?

I don’t know about that. It seems like a good possibility, especially if Graham’s preferred policy of increased and never-ending mass immigration continues.

I guess it never occurs to Graham and his ilk that it would be hard for these people to attack us here if we didn’t let the in the country in the first place.

Graham beleives that all of his constituents just got off the turnip truck. As if this special knowledge was imparted to him and he sees it as his duty to warn the people.

Newsflash Senator: we’re all well aware that nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists would be dangerous. What on earth that has to do with a regime that supposedly gassed its own people is beyond me.

Definitely a crook and I think he and other senators have been promised big bucks by officials in Qatar if they succeed in ousting Assad who is blocking their efforts to run pipelines for natural gas across Syrian soil.

So Lindsey, you, McCain and 0bama want to tweak the nose of the the only guy who had been able to drop a nuke anywhere he wants, if he wanted to?? Over a guy who has never really threatened the US in any serious manner?

The guy who only (maybe) has some degraded chemical weapons because Sadddam hid them in his ‘basement’?

Iran already does not believe the U.S. is resolved to prevent their having nuclear weapons. I’m a U.S. citizen and I don’t believe it. I don’t believe that half of Congress believes it. Nothing we do or do not do in Syria will cause Iran to believe or disbelieve anything under this pResident, because the whole world knows that everything he does, every action he takes, is done for the sole purpose of his self gratification and to keep Michelle of his back, the country be damned.

Full version at 1 hr 35 minutes.

Why would terrorists want to hit an underutilized port? Thanks to a heavy union presence, Charleston is more expansive to access than most East Coast ports. Savannah is much cheaper and gets more business. The navy base is no longer there and at best terrorists would destroy the sets of “Army Wives” shooting in the former base buildings.

Really? Do tell? OK then Senator Graham answer this. Why would they go into Charleston Harbor when for two decades our Leading Planning and Strategic Idiots have been berthing FIVE Aircraft Carriers at NOB Norfolk? You do know about that base right senator? It's the one where ships going to the International Piers about two miles upstream pass by daily.

Senator I could take an average E-4 and by the end of their first enlistment have a better understanding of defense & domestic national security needs than any of the morons sitting on defense committees in Congress today.

While I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer I do realize this much. When the M.E. Islamic nations are fighting each other they usually are not fighting with U.S.

While I do have sympathies for Christians in those nations who's lives are in constant danger from radical Islam {is their any other type of Islam? NO!} I do not see any gain in helping Islamics kill Islamic nor for that matter trying to make them cease from quenching their thousands of years old off and on again tribal blood-lust.

In the meantime our over deployed, undermanned, and over extended military troops and resources have been in an almost constant state into hostile deployments most of which really were not to our best interest and ones that were we did not even address with any reprisals whatsoever. Our military is a shell of what it was in the late 1980's. That's not the troops fault that is the fault of all sitting congress and all POTUS since 1989 - present.

The foreign policies of ever POTUS from Poppy Bush - Obama has grown progressively worse with each administration to where we have literally turned the now highly destabilized Middle East into Armageddon with our now insane Schizophrenic meddling the worse of it coming from the Obama Administration. BTW I am not an isolationalist. But I believe common sense has long left the debate on our foreign policy.

We are broke senator. Our alliances and the good will we once had & enjoyed with many nations has been torn away again by this administration which you seem to be so loyal and supportive of.

Personally I think GW Bush should have kept Powell, Rice, and our nation out of most M.E. fights, stepped aside, and and let Israel handled the issues with some covert help from us. Syria would not be an issue today had each time Israel acted in self defense and in it's own interest our State Department stepped in to stop it.

Our nation needs a new direction which is a return to the old direction. Look at what Reagan did right on foreign and domestic issues. Then weight that against all Obama has done right. Then weigh the wrong done by Obama on all issues. You Senator Graham are an enabler to one who is taking this beloved nation into self destruction.

It's an eye opener if you stop and think. A current twenty year Lifer in the military has not seen an end to the ongoing hostilities and deployments since Gulf War One. Our troops are doing far more and have to make do with far less in all aspects.
