A number of Sen. John McCain’s constituents are not happy with the Arizona Republican’s support of President Barack Obama’s plan to take military action against Syria. Voters made that much perfectly clear when they confronted him at a town hall in Phoenix on Thursday.

“We didn’t send you to make war for us. We sent you to stop the war,” one man said to applause, CNN reports.

Another man told McCain Congress is ignoring its duty to represent voters.

While they were at it, they should have yelled at McCain for supporting amnesty.

If you voted for McCain in order to stop wars, then I hardly know what to say. That's like saying you voted Obama to eliminate the national debt. It does not even skirt the far margins of common sense.

“We didn’t send you to make war for us. We sent you to stop the war,”

Note to AZ voter: It has nothing to do with ANY wars, just why do you keep sending this asshat to the Senate in the first place? He's a democrat-light and no friend to the good folks of AZ.

Agreed ... I did vote for the other guy. Flake has turned into his namesake as well.

I love that expression, “ It does not even skirt the far margins of common sense.” Consider it stolen.

2014 and 2016 will be an interesting election year. MSM can no longer cover the Dems like they did in 2012. Members of each party are drained by the BS. For the voters in the GOP borrow and spend GOP followed by expensive nation building wars; now the Dems are facing the same problem with Obama and the DNC. Dems are finding out that healthcare is not free, Dems want war just like GOP, along with wiretapping and etc. In the end the GOP will have their pro Wall Street free trade and imperial America faction, while the Dems will retain the color folks, Jews and big gov types, but a large former Dem and GOP voting bloc will be floating party less. They will be Tea Party and blue collar Dems, predominantly white voting bloc if united can scare the hell out of the establishment. If most of them sit home, wonder how the election will turn out in 2014 and 2016.

I don’t want to generalize that all AZ voters are stupid to keep electing this jackhole to the Senate. This dude could be just one of those like us who are fed up and had the sanity of not voting for this clown.

All AZ voters didn’t vote for asshat. I never implied that at all. But this guy stated that “we sent you to....” And that’s what I was going by.

Call me naive, but how do a**holes like this keep getting re-elected?

Another question: Has this a**hat ever cast a single vote or proposed a single thing that anyone here supports?
