We are staying at a cabin in Fort Wilderness, perfect for us.
Went to Magic Kingdom three times, Hollywood, Animal Kingdom, Epcot yesterday, Epcot today...leaving at five in the am in the morning.
One can tell Disney World is NOT run by the gubmint. First, NO Disney World employee (called Cast Members here, heh) EVER tells a visitor that something cannot be done.
If you ask a passing Cast Member to drive you somewhere, damn if they don’t, even if they say they first have to deliver towels to the laundry!
We have a meal plan, added on for free at the last minute but well worth it. They are so efficient at everything they do...the crowds are moved and pleased.
Like the song says...”Be Our Guest, Be Our Guest”....and you really are.
I’ll not be coming back to Disney World in my lifetime but I wanted to do it with my beloved granddaughter before I got too old and could not walk. I am reasonably healthy for a quadruple bypass patient at age fifty seven but walking and standing long periods of time are not my forte. I rented a little cart to get around and it’s been a godsend.
I’d planned this trip last year. My husband was going to stay home, mind the pets and hold down the fort. Eve n back then he was too ill to navigate Disney World. Hus band, alas, died this past April and we debated whether to go.
He would have wanted me to go, I know this.
I have had a wonderful time but guys, I’m done.
Daughter, granddaughter and soninlaw all love it and vow to return.
I’m glad I did it but I’m done.

Here’s a video, posted several months ago, of White House cryptkeeper McDonough saying we’re supporting anti-Assad rebels in Syria already, and will do more! “That assistance will expand,” he says. But “we’re not gonna rush to war.”
One bright spot is that some are thinking that a Syria attack defeat in congress will hurt him in the coming weeks of National issue debates.
