The White House asserted Sunday that a “common-sense test” rather than “irrefutable, beyond-a-reasonable-doubt evidence” makes the Syrian government responsible for the chemical weapons attack.

Wow. Mind-boggling in its flimsiness, banality as motivation for an attack on Syria. That's a premise not even Hitler subscribed to.

This looks more and more that the US regime could have paid off a rogue Syrian general to launch the attack.

At Zero Hedge - High-Level U.S. Intelligence Officers: Syrian Government Didn’t Launch Chemical Weapons

The Obama administration has selectively used intelligence to justify military strikes on Syria, former military officers with access to the original intelligence reports say, in a manner that goes far beyond what critics charged the Bush administration of doing in the run-up to the 2003 Iraq war.

According to these officers, who served in top positions in the United States, Britain, France, Israel, and Jordan, a Syrian military communication intercepted by Israel’s famed Unit 8200 electronic intelligence outfit has been doctored so that it leads a reader to just the opposite conclusion reached by the original report.

This ought to clear Assad - how is his ignorance of what his regime is doing any different than Zero’s protective veil of ignorance about the tyranny his regime is conducting? What’s good for the tyrant is good for the despot - or sumpin like dat...

Actually, the most likely explanation for this whole affair is that the insurgents were planning a false flag operation using a Sarin Gas attack to draw the US and other Western countries into the conflict to intervene on their behalf.

The people handling the chemical weapons had a work accident that caused the chemical weapons to be deployed prematurely and in the wrong location.

The premature use of the weapons screwed up the timing which prevented the it from being coordinated with the proper faked radio traffic and prevented the planting of false evidence to properly frame the Assad regime.

This attack may or may not have been with the prior knowledge of the Obama administration or other outside governments looking for a pretext to intervene, but if it was intended too be coordinated the premature attack took the outside forces by surprise and so the intended foreign response has been flat footed by the screwed up timing and lack of evidence..

So we can now ignore the fact that this administration HAS NO EFFIN' CLUE who is responsible for the attacks and watch them fade and distract with insinuation that it definitely wasn't rebel AQ forces. This flimsy, shallow, see-through, false flag BS is as close as this administration comes to transparency... and THAT is only becauee we peons are gifted with x-ray eyesight.

I see what you are doing there.

.

Or even worse, someone hired Valerie Jarret's mercenaries to fire the rounds ...

At this this point, who knows ?

All that matters is the answer to this question:

Qui Bono ?

All fingers point to the American Sodomite Kenyan President.

... and his (beloved) Shiite-filled Jihadist Terrorist Brothers-in-Arms

TREASON !

Unfortunately we know what “common sense” means to a liberal

It’s like arguing facts with a lunatic

“common-sense test”

Common sense is not very common these days and totally non existent in the present administration for which everything is a faculty lounge discussion or a Marxist mantra.

White Hut: assuming that Syria gassing it’s own citizens warrants the USA committing an act of war against them .... if you feel compelled to establish that fact, I’m not sure why you would feel required to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. Or even by clear and convincing evidence.

The problem you Yahoos face is—you can’t even show that it is more likely than not that the government was behind it.
To the contrary, it seems about as likely that it was done by the savages you want to help.

It looks more and more to me like Saudi Arabia is willing to pull out all the stops. I’m waiting for the Bushes to have a family reunion so they can all announce their support at one time.
