Mr. Obama, you've already lost the Syrian War -- here's how to win the big one

President Obama – face it, you’ve already lost the Syrian war. You probably lost it a year ago when you laid down that "red line" threat without any idea how you respond if Assad called your bluff.

As any parent knows, if you make a threat, you better be ready to carry it out. If you tell your teenager, “Be home before dark or I’ll ground you,” and then if he isn’t and you don’t, you can bet he will stay out ‘til midnight next time, and before long he’ll be sneaking out in the middle of the night.

No matter how you try to wiggle out of it, you're the one who set the "red line" -- not the world, not Congress, not the American people.

By tossing the Syrian decision to Congress, you guaranteed that you’ve lost the Syrian war. The American people are overwhelming against another Middle East war, and the more your administration tries to sell it, the more public support falls off.

He distanced himself from the American people in that statement....”MY credibility isn’t on the line....Congress and America’s credibility is on the line”!! OMG!! There is NOTHING American about this sad excuse for a President. Jimmah....Jimmah....YOU would be better!!! Can’t believe I said that.

If you do escalate, and topple Assad, you’ll pave the way for Al Qaeda-affiliated rebels to take his place.

This isn't even about toppling Assad anymore - nothing 0bama has proposed would effect that anyway. This is about "I have decided to make war and nobody can tell me 'no'." That's an awfully stupid reason to throw bombs around.

The author does make an interesting case for starving the Islamist beast through American energy independence. It would work - to a limited degree it already is - but it will take some time to ramp up and I suspect is far too politically incorrect for 0bama and his radical chic administration to pursue.

He is certainly the behind of something.

Like the south end of a north bound mule.

“He is once again leading from behind.”

He is once again acting like a horse’s behind.

“without any idea how you respond if Assad called your bluff.”

And without any idea how you would respond, if your threat should entice the rebels to carry out a false-flag operation, and attack their own people with gas.
