A Navy veteran studying at Boston University is in the hospital after he was attacked early Saturday morning near his apartment, according to police and a family member of the beating victim.
Police say Michael Stinnett was at Beacon Street and Park Drive in Boston when he was attacked by three people who had been driving by in a dark car.
Stinnett, who served eight years as a Navy weapons instructor, told police the car stopped after he yelled at the driver to slow down.
A witness told Boston Police that three black males got out of the car and began fighting with Stinnett.

Another white victim gets ‘Trayvonned’
He yelled at the driver? Doesn’t he know the rules about being lynched? Keep your head down, don’t cause any trouble, and don’t be noticed when you’re in the vicinity of your betters.
Yeah, that’s satiric, but it’s where we are headed, assuming we haven’t already arrived when polite folks tell the Zimmermans of the world just to stay in the car and not cause trouble.
It looks like we’re metaphorically about 1925 as it concerns anti-white hate crime. Everyone knows about it, sometimes they’ve seen it, but it’s something that happens in a far-off land, or among people we’d rather not talk about it. In 1925, that was the Deep South - today, it’s the black-dominated inner city.
There will come an Emmitt Till moment, when a group of racist blacks commits some kind of killing that finally grabs the attention of the country. In the meantime, though, it’s something that polite people don’t discuss. Yet.
Sooner or later, one way or another, this kind of black on white hate crime will be stopped.
The good hard working blacks of this country need to get out from under the blanket of fear of reprisal and stand up for equal right and equal wrong. They have the most to lose. Right now they are looking more and more line the Islamic population. Islam first even when it is dead wrong. Black first even when there is murder and attempted murder involved.
NEVER yell at the animals when on Safari-—especially when you are unarmed and not in a vehicle.

I grew up in the city.
You never yell at a car when you do not know who is in it, what drugs they are on, and especially when you are alone and unarmed.
I feel for this guy, but the episode makes him look like a hick.

I read your post and I understood it. I worked in and around Atlanta for ten years. In the streets. In the crack neighborhoods. I was not allowed to carry, so I carried. If the company ever caught me carrying, I was fired. So I carried. Not a gun. A machete. I walked down the streets of Atlanta with a machete and not one gang-banger felt like screwing with the guy who is fixing their electric. And he is a white guy who is nuts and has a machete.

In the heyday of lynching, there was some horrific stuff - and it was photographed and documented. And it was considered to be far away and impolite for most elites to discuss.
Of course, there were people who did discuss it, and even some who tried to fight back. My point is that it took a long time, and a lot of deaths and mayhem visited on innocents.
I have decided not to be polite about it, though. Fortunately I’m pretty old and I can’t really be harmed much professionally or even physically. Those of us screaming about it will be noticed someday. You just have to keep up the pressure against it.
I hope he took his asswhooping like a good little victim.

I tend to agree. Discretion is the better part of valor sometimes. Especially when you’re alone and unarmed. It’s a sad commentary on our cities when that is the case, but it is all too often Realville.
