> Thank you for a sane voice in the echo chamber! Based on the philosophy written by this website's founder (linked on the website's main page) a lot of these little Hitlers seem to have taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque!

You're VERY welcome!

It alternately amazes and appalls me, how many so-called Conservatives are just as much Statists as the Statist Socialists and Communists. Government overreach and tyranny are just dandy with them, as long as the particular tyrannical restrictions on personal and social liberty happen to align with their personal preferences.

I'm mainly a (small-'l') libertarian, strict Constitutionalist, Patriot, lover of liberty, grateful to my God every day for my life and the opportunity to live it in a Free Country called America.

I believe that God gave Mankind the right to make stupid choices. It's called Free Will. Without it, we are automatons.

I have a hunch, as you opined, that FreeRepublic's founder would probably go along with that, certainly as regards tattoos.

This might just save some people from their own poor judgement. However, since their choice to get pierced or tattooed doesn’t impact me in any way (other than having to look at them), I’ll have to say this is yet another case of nanny-state over-reaching.
