President Obama has offered Syrian President Bashar al-Assad a way out of any U.S. bombing campaign. A $10 billion donation to his slush fund?

Obama reminds me of a playground bully.

Of course it will never happen, but Assad could just petition to join the Russian Federation.
Now Mr. Obama, you were saying?

The model for this reorganization is the so-called Dayton plan that has been overseeing the restructuring of the Palestinian Authority security organizations and militias. Right, because the Dayton Plan has worked out so well ... (/sarc)

His Arrogance is scrambling. His Saudi employers have told him there will be no bonus in his Swiss account this year unless he gets off butt (Reggie) and gets that Syrian thing sorted out.

In other words, the Alawite minority is to surrender to the al Qaeda backed Sunni Muslim majority: the lamb is to sit down with the three wolves and vote on what to have for dinner.

If this is serious, it shows how detached from reality Obama and Company truly are.
Custer to Sitting Bull: Lay down your arms, and we will allow you to surrender and take you as prisoners back to Chicago.
Almost that bad.

Ha ha ha haaaaaaa!!!
How much are you willing to accept for us NOT to bomb you? Is a trillion enough? It might take me a few days to raise that much but I'm confident my Press Corpse will help me get it.

Exactly. Order Assad to wear a pink bunny suit in public. Just as realistic a demand.

Quite so. Total detachment from reality. It's very dangerous to have a "leader" like this.

Obama is acting like a brass macaroni president/general from darkest Africa with the US military at his disposal. The only question that remains is if the joint chiefs and top military brass are completely compromised as well.

Obama has
- No evidence Assad used WMD
- No UN Security Council Resolution to use force
- No "Coalition of the Willing" to apply force
- No Congressional Approval to use force
- No support from the American People to use force
- No money to pay for the use of force
Assad has all the cards, Obama has a teleprompter.
FAIL

This won't happen.
George Bush wisely delayed the US attack against Iraq until Saddam had transferred all of his WMDs out of Iraq
Most of those WMDs went to Syria and are still there. Syria has plenty of it's own too.
Every politician in the region is scared sh*tless about what could happen if they get used.
In any direct confrontation Syria will likely lose, but their WMD will take down a lot people all over the region.
Assad is not the kind of guy to go down without taking as much of the region as possible with him.

Be nice to have a Free and Fair election in the US for change. Getting a bit tired of Democrats loading the polls.
IMO Assad will tell Obama to take his dal and stick it.

Playground bully except for the fact that Obama is a skinny little fart that couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag and everyone knows it.
