It is entirely understandable that Barack Obama's way of dealing with Syria in recent weeks should have elicited responses ranging from puzzlement to disgust. Even members of his own party are despairingly echoing in private the public denunciations of him as "incompetent," "bungling," "feckless," "amateurish" and "in over his head" coming from his political opponents on the right.
For how else to characterize a president who declares war against what he calls a great evil demanding immediate extirpation and in the next breath announces that he will postpone taking action for at least 10 days—and then goes off to play golf before embarking on a trip to another part of the world?

Summing up the net effect of all this, as astute a foreign observer as Conrad Black can flatly say that, "Not since the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991, and before that the fall of France in 1940, has there been so swift an erosion of the world influence of a Great Power as we are witnessing with the United States."
Yet if this is indeed the pass to which Mr. Obama has led us—and I think it is—let me suggest that it signifies not how incompetent and amateurish the president is, but how skillful. His foreign policy, far from a dismal failure, is a brilliant success as measured by what he intended all along to accomplish. The accomplishment would not have been possible if the intention had been too obvious. The skill lies in how effectively he has used rhetorical tricks to disguise it.

Like a prophecy, this postmortem was known way in advance. The only hope for this nation is for people to repent and turn to God... in mass. But with homosexuality becoming a civil right and the religion of the land, well, it may just be too late. I love Jesus.
Even Texas is preparing for secession if (or rather, when) the nation falls apart (which it most certainly will). I believe much of the rest of the South and rural areas elsewhere will do the same.
Does anyone see this as “wag the dog” to divert attention from the other scandals? The recent actions of the administration seem way to bungling even for this group. I just get the feeling that something else is going on.

“Jellyfish Spine” Boehner as Speaker of the House is essential to Obama’s continued unchallenged destruction of the US Constitution.
Nothing will change as long as cave-in artists Boehner and Cantor are in leadership roles in the US House of Representatives.
If Boehner is replaced as Speaker with a fighter such as Col. Allen West, then the Articles of Impeachment for B. Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, can be quickly issued.
The problem is not with Obama, as he is just doing what Communist Trrants are trained to do.
The problem is not with Boehner, as he loves to lose and wallow in the disgrace of being the worst Speaker of the House, EVER.
The problem lies with our sorry, spineless, RINOs in the House who refuse to replace Boehner with a proven fighter.

I read this article in the WSJ this morning and I was amazed at how accurate it was. Even without going into his Islamist program, simply analyzing and tallying up his success in carrying out his radical leftist objectives, he’s been a howling success.
And the important point is that he’s now moving on to his international objective, which is to reduce the world influence and power of the US and publicly weaken and humiliate it in order to achieve this.
Obama is a dumbass, but he’s just one dumbass. The problem is the Democrat party. It provides the means for dumbasses like Obama and Clinton to come to power. The Democrat party must be dismantled in order for our country to survive.
Norman Podhoretz and Conrad Black are two very astute men.

I don’t buy it. Obama is too much a narcissist to play a martyr for his “cause” of reducing Americas’ stature. His supposed faux imcompetence is too exacting. He is incompetent... along with his unaccomplished crew and cheerleading communist sycophants.
By House Law, anyone, Member or not, can be elected by the sitting Members of the House to be the Speaker of the house.
Look it up.
