Al-Qaeda is a wholly owned franchise of the Muslim Brotherhood. They are the “shock troops”, much like the Waffen-SS was the direct supporting army of the National-Socialist German Workingmen’s Party (commonly abbreviated as “Nazi”).
The parallels are striking.
It is all Sunni vs Shiites. Until we get that we are painfully ignorant as Christians.
