Yes there are a few on here that need to apologize to GZ. But...they are probably the same who whined about Todd Akin and sandbagged his Senate campaign......some here believe everything the liberal media says including Fox News
Personally, when I heard the initial ‘stories’ I thought to myself that GZ would have to have been one stupid dumb sumbich to be waving a gun around, or even having a gun with him, in a confrontation with his estranged wife.
IOW, I didn’t believe the reports.

Nobody "sandbagged" Akin, he committed electoral suicide.
All I ever said here, as soon as I heard what he said, was that he had become unelectable and should withdraw immediately.
He WAS unelectable, as it turned out, and as a result a reddish state has a communist as US Senator for six long years.
Any thinking person should have known enough to be suspicious of statements from an estranged wife in a divorce situation. This isn’t that hard.

Monday night saying she never saw a gun and only assumed her estranged husband was carrying a weapon because he touched his stomach.
Something else that has not been mentioned is that if she gets a restraining order placed against him, he loses his rights for concealed carry and even to own a weapon for a year or for the duration of the order.
Most are correct that some attorney put her up to this. and said attorney is working with others to make sure he is unarmed. That is how she will collect the life insurance.
I know about the loss of 2nd rights as I had one placed against me when the crazy (insert label here) tried to crash into my house with the police inside with me. All I did was block her way through the door until the police, who told her to stay outside, restrained her and took her back outside. The RO was placed against me even with all three officers testifying in support of my testimony.
What started it all? She had a history of not being home to receive my son and the end of visitation and she had the times for such exchanges set as court orders. I finally gave up chasing her down to make the exchanges and went back across town to let him sleep at my house and we would take him again in the morning which was a holiday.
It is the friggin family law attorneys and the willing co-conspirators called Judges that are to root cause of all these goofy problems. The simple fact of the matter is that they know, in most cases, the man will be the overall breadwinner and that is who they eventually stick with the bill as well. Just another form of shakedown artists.
It’s different in FL. Anything can be claimed in the initial filing however when it goes before the judge the veracity of the claims is taken into consideration. I.e., if the filer cites events which aren’t substantiated it’ll likely get denied.
Imo her call may have been to establish grounds for a restraining order so she could get more of his S than she was going to. Also the insurance angle if he gets killed.
This woman is having a mental breakdown.
There might be a book but I think the only movie will be his story with faked names. No money will be given to George.
She saw the way Trayvon's family was treated by the press and the government. They're getting money, sympathy, and preferential treatment. She's getting driven into hiding by death threats, and prosecutors looking at everything she does for an opportunity to charge her with something that will smear GZ by association.
I knew she was lying yesterday when it was reported she decided not to press charges after speaking with her lawyer.
Or become a new commentator on "World's Dumbest" next to Tonya Harding and Danny Bonaduce.

That may be so, but I believe (I have FL NR CCW) if you have EVER had a TRO for “domestic violence” (obtained by perjury or not) that you cannot have firearms.
That may even be Federal law (VAWA II).
I’m not aware of any death threats against Shelly Z.
She turned on him for the allure of security, support and payoff she saw from her brief affiliation with media leftists. She drank the Kool-Aid. She’ll be used and abandoned but will blame GZ rather than the scammers. She’ll wind up as (another) bitter, failed woman tool-of-the-left-and-unscrupulous-lawyers.

I too have been victimized by a family court. I sat and watched this black woman judge (appointed by Democrat Governor Chiles) play Judge Judy. It was a performance. This black woman was divorcing her husband. He said, “Your honor, she wanted a Mercedes. I bought her one. She wrecked it. While it was being repaired she bought a Jaguar. I can’t afford these cars. Now she’s trying to make me pay for that and a new house and the list goes on and on. I don’t the money.”
The judge said, “Well you had just better find the money.” Gosh.
They're probably directed at George, but as long as they live in the same house she's a target, too.

I’m sure we know men who were accused of something we, viscerally, kniw they are not capable of doing, by the nature of their character and temperment.
You then find out later not a damned thing came of the accusation but, the guy is fk’d for years, for the false accusation alone.
