Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) will honor former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with this year’s Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center. The award will be presented to Clinton on September 10th, the eve of the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States mission in Benghazi that killed four Americans.

The Christian Science Monitor reports that Bush, a potential GOP contender in the 2016 presidential race, is chairman of the board of trustees of the National Constitution Center located in Philadelphia.

We have NO Republican leadership what so ever...only option is the ‘who’s less bad’.

God have mercy on us.

National Constitution Center president and CEO Jeffrey Rosen said, “Hillary Clinton has devoted her life to expanding opportunities for ‘We the People’ not just in this country but around the globe.”

Is this another one of those far-left outfits that cloaks themselves in American-sounding names?

Filth. Utter filth. I spit on them and Jeb Bush.

That’ll rub it in the faces of the parents, wives, sisters, brothers etc of the slain quite nicely. Which I’m sure is the intent. There’s no holding back now. They think they own us.

Jeb Bush is the Nelson Rockefeller of the 21st century.

Sadly, Bush would be peased by that comparison too.

While this is nothing compared to his performance in the Schiavo affair, it is a useful reminder of his dishonor.

Never would I vote for this scoundrel, not if Bill Ayers was his opponent on a Dem ticket with OJ Simpson.

The Democrats' 'Smart Power' Lies in Ruins
National Review | Sept 3, 2013 | Jim Geraghty / FR Posted by kristinn

Democrats Suddenly Realize What They Miscalculated About the World: Everything

As we await Congress’ decision on authorizing the use of U.S. military force in Syria, Democrats are suddenly realizing that their foreign policy brain-trust completely misjudged the world.

Being nicer to countries like Russia will not make them nicer to you. The United Nations is not an effective tool for resolving crises. Some foreign leaders are beyond persuasion and diplomacy. There is no “international community” ready to work together to solve problems, and there probably never will be.

You can pin this on Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Susan Rice, but most of all, the buck stops with the president. Those of us who scoffed a bit at a state senator ascending to the presidency within four years on a wave of media hype and adoration are not quite so shocked by this current mess.

We never bought into this notion that getting greater cooperation from our allies, and less hostility from our enemies, was just a matter of giving this crew the wheel and letting them practice, as Hillary Clinton arrogantly declared it, “smart power” (and fronted Time magazine cover).

(These people can’t even label a foreign policy approach without reminding us of how highly they think of themselves.)

They looked out at the world at the end of the Bush years, and didn’t see tough decisions, unsolvable problems, unstable institutions, restless populations, technology enabling the impulse to destabilize existing institutions, evil men hungry for more power, and difficult trade-offs.

No, our problems and challengers were just a matter of the previous hands running U.S. foreign policy not being smart enough. (Excerpt) Read more at nationalreview.com ...

I can’t see myself ever voting for a Bush again; unless it is a Bush unrelated to the Bush dynasty.

Don’t pay the 25 bucks per person guided tour to visit the National Constitution Center when visit Philly. Check out the Liberty Bell and the free Independence Hall tour instead.

It’s just too bad. They made it (National Constitution Center) into a leftist version of the American early history, and they proudly proclaim they promote Freedom and are non-political. (spit)

I posted elsewhere and I’ll post it here again - HOW MANY PEOPLE DID HILLARY “FREED”?

The real question is “who is the Constitution Center” — anyone can use any name.

Check out the past recipients on page 4:

Muhammed Ali

Kofi Annan

Steven Spielberg

Jimmy Carter

The Bushes and the Clintons are really just one big happy family. I’ve never understood it, but they are entirely too chummy.

Agree. Something smells fishy in that whole deal
