Posted on 09/10/2013 9:01:06 AM PDT by jimbo123
The Republican National Committee (RNC) is on the ground in Colorado providing support for the pro-recall efforts as voters in senator John Morse (D-Colo. Springs) and Angela Giron's (D-Pueblo) districts head to the polls. Giron and Morse face recall votes thanks to a public outcry after the two Democrats voted for recently-enacted gun control measures limiting magazine sizes and requiring background checks for private gun sales.
In an effort to offset the advantages Giron has enjoyed via Organizing For Action (OFA) operatives working her office and the advantages both senators have enjoyed from gifts by NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and others, the RNC is supporting the recall efforts in three ways that are crucial to voter turnout.
RNC staffers are providing equipment, date help, and grassroots field work in School Districts 3 and 11, where they are recruiting and organizing volunteers and working with county parties and the challengers' campaigns to achieve voter contact goals. This includes utilizing both the RNC's walk app as well as VOIP phones and a phone-from-home system.

NRA and Rocky Mountain Gun Owners most certainly. I have not heard nor seen any GOP efforts.
RNC trying to jump to the front of the parade.
Why’s Breitbart carrying the RNC’s water?
The RNC is just trying to jump in front of the parade so that it can claim credit if these two gun-grabbers go down in flames today.
It will be hard to overcome all the fraudulent voting that is taking place.
RNC must have polling that recall is going to succeed. Or they wouldn’t have sent anyone to Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
Whys Breitbart carrying the RNCs water?
Why not give the RNC credit when it does something right? It doesn’t mean we have to fund them.
Therein lies the usual RNC mistake .... playing defense. It was "about much more than Colorado" before Bloomberg ever had any notion of cutting a check. Obama caught them flat-footed in the presidential election and it appears they learned nothing.
When are we going to know what the voting results are?
Because the RNC needs to be disbanded. It did nothing while grass roots conservatives were collecting signatures. And now, when the regular Joe shows he can get it done without the GOP machine, the RNC wants its name attached to the recall? They can go to Hell as far as I'm concerned.
Yet the RNC also has polling that 99% of conservatives are against amnesty, yet that doesn’t stop them from spending millions to pimp it.
Wish they would just jump in front of a bus. At least the leadership and the RINOs.
Hoping for the best here, will also slap down Obama

If the RNC and GOP-e stops behaving like Democrats, we double-dutch promise to stop cussing them out.
If you can't see the damage that's been done to this country by the Republican establishment, you're just not paying attention. For years, the GOP strung along pro-life and 2nd amendment voters with empty promises and shouts of at least our guy's better than the Dem. They can't do that anymore. They have got to go. And on those occasions when they do the right thing, like today in Colorado, I question their motives. It's certainly not to get rid of the gun grabbers. If it were, they'd have thrown some crumbs to the recall effort instead of standing back and watching it.
Finally, the RNC nearly a year after another presidential election loss and having shown no plan to grow the party except to blame their woes on the most rock-solid American conservatives, is taking a small step toward fighting.
They can learn a lot from the NRA. The NRA is about the only organization in America that has pushed back against the socialist onslaught in the past year. And, the NRA, while suffering some setbacks such as Colo and New York, are having more success than the RNC and the abusive pressure on the NRA is enormous. The NRA doesn’t insult its members and doesn’t ignore lies and insults. The NRA doesn’t have a Colin Powell or Meghan McCain as spokespeople, either. NRA members know who the bad guys are and champion everyones’ basic human right to self-defense.
RNC??? Give me a break.
They can spin that all they want, but this IS and has been a a Gunny thing from the start.
Thank the Tea Party, NRA, GOA, and a whole raft of smaller Patriot organizations for taking this to the mattresses.
County clerks will be able to release early voting by 8 pm MST. I suspect final count will take till 10 or 11 pm.
“It will be hard to overcome all the fraudulent voting that is taking place.”
I saw the report of a college student dropping off a backpack full of votes. It should be one man one vote and no bulk votes being dropped off by one person.
righttackle44, you’re entitled to your opinion, and this is an opinion forum...
Here’s mine in response:
When House Speaker John Boehner (GOP) and Eric Cantor (GOP) stop going along to get along with Obama and HELPING him to erase us...
When Chris Christie (GOP) can stop hugging Obama long enough to rescind all Unconstitutional New Jersey Gun Control laws and recognize the Citizens’ right to keep (own) and bear (carry) arms...
When Jeb Bush (GOP) decides to NOT honor Hillary Clinton with a “Liberty Medal” ...
When the GOP on the whole decides to NOT be Democrat Lite and remembers that they CAN be a powerful opposition party... and were ELECTED to congress in a massive 2010 landslide to be...
THEN we’ll give them credit.
In the meantime, credit goes to the man in the arena... They, for the most part, have not stepped into the Arena, other than to character assassinate our Conservative / Tea Party people when we get them into the spotlight.
People like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Scott Walker, LtC West, Mike Lee, Louie Gohmert - THEY’RE in the Arena, and getting damned little support from the Party.
That’s why you find the reaction out here that you do... Maybe it’s because we actually expect people to WALK THE WALK, and not just talk the talk at election time.
I know... we’re weird like that.
Go to hell RNC....time for a new party with some balls and a back bone....
I wish Colorado the best of luck taking out this trash.
The Democrats are trying to destroy this beautiful state just like they did California. It’s good to see these folks pushing back. They learned the hard way that there is no such thing as a good Democrat anymore.
Good luck Colorado!
