A somber September 11th to everyone.
Thoughts are with all those who took those long walks home and those who didn't get the chance to walk home. It was a tiring ordeal for me(*), but as my father would've said, it beat the alternative.
(*)starting across the river, in Brooklyn. I wasn't in lower Manhattan. Fate (and jury duty) removed the possibility that I might've been on the PATH train below the towers at a really bad time, as I had been on the previous Thursday morning.

Heavy duty memories! I agree that 9.11 did effect more than anything. So sad that the government forgets/chooses to ignore.
