DENVER Democrats dont often complain about voter fraud, but the prospect of outside voters taking advantage of an apparent loophole in Colorados new election law to participate in the legislative recalls has the bills sponsor crying foul.
State Rep. Dan Pabon (D-Denver), who sponsored the Voter Access and Modernized Elections Act, said Wednesday that those who say the law allows so-called gypsy voters are essentially advocating election fraud.
I think what theyre doing is advertising wholesale voter fraud and asking folks to basically break the law, Pabon told the Colorado Observer.

So he dems put a loophole in a bill they could use in future elections when they needed to manufacture more votes. They now accuse the republicans of using it in the recall. So now say we agree that this loophole should be removed and the best way is to use voter Id.

To: barmag25
Pabon's whining amounts to this:
"This bill was supposed to more easily enable Democrat vote fraud! It's not fair that it's the Republicans who abused it!"
To: DoughtyOne
...those who say the law allows so-called gypsy voters are essentially advocating election fraud. She then went on to say we, the Democrats, are the ones genuinely advocating election fraud, even embracing it; we wrote the book and the bill! Blast it! We hate it when somebody else steals our thunder and takes the credit! When it comes to voter fraud chose the real deal, vote Democrat as if it counts!

They are only crying fowl because they were unable to steal the election with rampant fraud. This should be a warning to them. Sadly it will not be. The next election will be voters with hemp rope.

A bit of Shakespeare, while those of us favoring photo ID, an end to absentee balloting for people who have no real excuse not to come to the polls, and no more same day registrations, enjoy this tasty bit of irony. [And it hurteth not that we are also the same people who believe in ALL 10 Amendments in the Bill of Rights, including the Second One.]
They bear the mandate; they must sweep my way
And marshal me to knavery. Let it work;
For tis the sport to have the enginer
Hoist with his own petar; and t shall go hard
But I will delve one yard below their mines
And blow them at the moon: O, tis most sweet,
When in one line two crafts directly meet.

According to the Left.. there is NO such thing as voter fraud!!
It’s just a myth made up by right wingers to justify voter ID laws!

Well then we all agree there is vote fraud then, and we have to stop it. We need voter ID required, and perhaps even voter ID cards to assure nobody can vote more than once. What a concept! Lets now get on that!

And in fact, the law does allow gypsy voters. Period. That was a deliberate part of the dems new election law. It allows busloads of homeless people with no id to be dumped in closely contested districts and declare their “intention” to move.
Once declared, their ballots get commingled with decent ballots so you can’t undo it even if you prove they didn’t actually move.
What the dems are pissed about is that a local libertarian talk-show host went and declared his intent to move at the polling place and got a ballot to vote, no problem. He shined a light on the gypsy voter fraud that the dems deliberately enabled and they don’t like that one little bit.

They are only crying fowl because they were unable to steal the election with rampant fraud. In an honest election, Morse would have lost 75% to 25%. As it was, he nearly won.
It's got me shaken up.
6 months following the defeat of Ken Buck for US Senate ( he lost by about a 1,000 votes)The CO SOS issued a report showing 5,000 illegals voted in that election in that district. No arrests, prosecutions, or warnings were issued. Business as usual.
Had this been a mail in ballot election, yesterday would have be 180 degrees different.
Yesterday was the last non-mail-in-ballot in CO.
