The Billion Dollar Gun Grabber Boycott - that will cost you nothing
11 September 2013

Posted on 09/11/2013 5:22:00 AM PDT by 11th_VA

Folks,

In honor of the 'Total Recall' victory in Colorado last night, I want to ask for your help in participating in the "Trillion Dollar Boycott" of Gun Grabber States, that will cost you nothing.

One of the largest expenses each of us pay, are insurance payments (Home, auto, life, etc). For me, it's over $5,000 per year - that's $50,000 over 10 years.

When I found out my hard earned dollars I was paying for insurance were going to a Yankee Gun Grabber state, I decided to change my insurance provider and now support a company located in a '2A' friendly state.

That's $50K over 10 years that won't be going to a gun grabber state now.

If I can get 20,000 '2A' defenders to join me, we can easily shift 1 TRILLION DOLLARS of revenue to '2A' gun friendly states.

The states to target include: MA, CT, NY, MD, (feel free to add more)

Here are links to the TOP businesses in each of the gun grabber states - if you see an insurance provider there or other business to boycott, please consider changing the way you spend your dollars:

Massachusetts

Connecticut

New York

Maryland

After switching a service or provider, post the 10 year year TOTAL of dollars that will not be going to a 'gun grabber state' and we'll keep a running total.

I don’t know why I’d want to punish a business for the actions of a state government. The business is likely being punished enough simply by virtue of being located there. For all I know, I could be moving $ from a company with fairly conservative values to another company that’s backing Democrats 100%.

CitizenUSA, if you are providing for the lively hood of those voters in Gun Grabber states, you are contributing to the problem.

If you’re using any free email service, Amazon, or utilizing network routes in most of the US, you’re using products by EMC (Massachusetts) and Level 3 Communications (New York), respectively. EMC is the largest provider of network storage (SAN and NAS) in the world. I’ve been in IT for over 20 years and have yet to see a company using SAN storage other than EMC.

While there are some companies we can avoid, there are others so ingrained in our day-to-day that avoiding them would mean removing yourself from a large chunk of society.

If you/your family qualify as members, USAA is a simple choice.

Totally agree - My 401K is with a New York based company - can't change that. But in the areas of my life I can change service providers, I will now do so ...

Case in point - Tennesee

I think it is the COMPANY we need to look at, not the state they are in.

If they are supporting dems then withdraw your bizness

We need a list of libtard-leaning businesses

If you go to 'Open Secrets', most businesses give to both parties.

I think this needs to be a 'Total War' - there will be collateral damage. But just like Sheridan did to the 'Valley,' and Sherman did to Georgia, these kinds of actions can be very effective. A Trillion dollars is NOT chump change, and very doable with the numbers I posted.

Already have our insurance in a gun-friendly state. General Casualty Company and American Family are both in Wisconsin. :-)

NetApp

Much better product than EMC.

Keep in mind that employees of those companies in those states more than likely voted dim, I have no sympathy for them.

Where do the stock holders of your new insurance company live? Who administers your pension plan and do they hold any insurance stocks? All insurance companies engage in reinsurance. That’s a risk limitation practice where they parcel out their risk among a pool of companies. Does your new insurance company reinsure through Travelers, The Hartford, Metropolitan, etc.?

Just some thoughts about the futility of boycotts in such an interconnected industry. I worked for several Fortune 100 insurance companies. In many states one of them handled the business under the name of the other one that wasn’t licensed In thise states. When you buy insurance you really have no idea who you’re doing business with.
