President Obama never misses a chance to blame it on Bush, and last nights address to the nation on Syria was no exception.
The reason Obama has failed to win support military action in Syria, the president declared last night, is not because he has failed to lay out a coherent strategy its because of the terrible toll of Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama further slammed former president George W. Bush for presiding over a decade that put more and more war-making power in the hands of the president and more and more burdens on the shoulders of our troops, while sidelining the peoples representatives from the critical decisions about when we use force.
Put aside the fact that Congress explicitly authorized the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, while Obama did not seek congressional authorization before launching his war in Libya or that dozens of nations joined us in Iraq and Afghanistan, while in Syria we have . . . France.
If Bush was so bad, then why did Obama lift so much of his speech making the case for military action in Syria from Bushs speech making the case for military action in Iraq?
In his address Tuesday night arguing that the United States must hold a Baathist dictator who used chemical weapons against his own people to account, Obama said: I know Americans want all of us in Washington especially me to concentrate on the task of building our nation here at home. . . . Its no wonder then that youre asking hard questions. So let me answer some of the most important questions that Ive heard from members of Congress and that Ive read in letters that youve sent to me.

CPS should remove his kids from his and his wife's custody.
It is quite amazing to watch narcissism at work. It can be painful at times, but it is quite amazing.

Didn’t both of his SOS’s vote for Iraq and Afghanistan?
Congress needs to take its powers back from the executive and make it clear that Presidents who start wars without Congress will be impeached.
More deaths in Afghanistan happened during Obama’s watch. Something like 73% ...
The guy is crazy. He’s also a Muslim Marxist, but crazy is the operative word. Hopefully, that will be his downfall.
Or, as with Hitler, crazy may be the thing that gets him to the top. This means, of course, that he will take all of us down with him when he falls, which he will because they always do.
......discussed on one of the talkers.
That transformational Ohaha WANTS the US to decline as a superpower.....and has worked toward that goal.
And that lib/progs are “uncomfortable” w/ the US as a global power....meandering all over the globe to work its will.
He’s very narcissistic. Very. To the point that he’s delusional.
In the 2008 campaignthe Obama’s even talked down the “American dream”, the idea that you should work hard and get ahead. They encouraged people to work for non-profits and volunteer instead of having ambition. They called it “middleclassism” or something.
He is a first class weirdo.
“its because of the terrible toll of Iraq and Afghanistan.
I thought Obama said Afghanistan was the “right” war during his first campaign.
So now there were WMD’s but bush still lied and the war was bad?
So much for the United Negro College Fund cause bath house’s mind is already wasted.
I thought Obama said Afghanistan was the right war during his first campaign.
He did, but we aren’t supposed to remember that.
He is delusional. The sad thing about delusional people who get into power is that they usually manage to convince a number of ordinary time-serving employees and minions to go along with them, usually because these people are afraid of them and also because in most cases, they didn’t realize how nutty the boss was until they were in too deep to get out.
I think that’s the case with a lot of ordinary Dems nowadays. On the other hand, then you have GOPers like McCain, who seem to have caught the madness. But, personally, I think McCain is developing a bit of dementia. Unfortunately, Barry the megalomaniac will use it.
Yuppers, it's posted on fb where all my obammy lovin friends can gnash their teeth over :)
It would be more fun if we weren't the victims...
Agreed. That’s why I used the word “amazing” rather than “amusing”. LOL!
Good one Ace... you’re right.
