Upon request, I have collected links to many of the earliest threads from September 11, 2001 below. Feel free to add other significant threads, including photo archives. Bumping this thread periodically instead of the original threads will also avoid scaring people with the headlines.
Bookmark this thread, and bump it from time to time when the nation and the press seems to forget why we need resolve in the face of evil. Forgive some of the early misinformation and broken photo links, and recall the horror and fury.

I’m curious if I posted to any of those. I didn’t get back home until pretty late and the Internet wasn’t my first choice, but I know I gave my first hand account online.
There are over 470 comments on the 2002 thread and it was less than 6 months after the attack, when memories were fresh.
Whatever happened to Huck? His tale of getting out of NYC on 9-11 was an amazing read
I had posted an email from my brother who’s a NY detective of his experience that night. What he saw and what they wouldn’t show and if they did the American people would have wanted them nuked.
I wish I could find it.
I saved a long thread from FreeRepublic from CNBC. I’ll look at it to see if I can find your email.
One poster pegged it to OBL within minutes of the towers falling.

This morning, 9/11/2014, on our early morning walk, my wife and I discussed our memories of 9-11-01.
Our memories are as fresh as if it happened yesterday instead of 13 years ago.
The events of that terrible day are in our CNS forever.
We both remember Pearl Harbor Day, in spite of being infants.
