Yeah—the kerosene could start a wildfire.

But otherwise, the action should come under the 1st Amendment, IMHO.

“Is that illegal?”

Not unless you’re intending arson, or freedom of expression and white

“If it was on private property, as opposed to a county park, if there’s no burn ban in place, I would think it would be fine.”

I should have read the article. The park is the catch. That one has been used against flag burners too. Got to be careful where you plan to burn things

Isn’t that covered in the 1st amendment to our Constitution?

In some jurisdictions, it may be illegal to desecrate kerosene.

A stunt like that could spark a riot in a far off Muslim country without internet, yet watching on you-tube, leaving an ambassador raping left for dead while us troops are told to stand down and let chemical weapons secretly traded to Hezbollah - but what difference does it make anyway!

“The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jones on felony charges of unlawful conveyance of fuel and open display of a firearm.”

Thanks.

Those don't sound like felonies to me.

Should’ve used bacon grease.

You’re welcome.

I wouldn’t think they were felonies either.

No can do. Kerosene alone not enough to get golden plates to burn. Can't find plates anyway...lost 'em. Or an angel stole 'em back. Or something.

Oh never mind..leave Brittany alone... :^(

From the article:

The sheriff said dumping kerosene onto the books presented a hazardous situation. “He was potentially driving a bomb around if he had gotten into a crash.”

Yeah, would it be okay to burn the Book of Mormon? Or the King James version of the Bible or the Torah, or the Comunist Manifesto of Karl Marx. WHY does the government feel compelled to protect the Koran.. If he legally acquired them, why couldn’t he burn them?

These Mussies will continue as long as we allow them. We are the problem. Let's get it on.

Where in blazes do you buy that many books and why can’t you feed some people with that money?

Or buy some equally priced bibles and give them out?!
