Are terrorists setting U.S. wildfires? Ex-NSA official: Al-Qaida ignited California blazes
wnd ^ | 9/11/13 | Joe Kovacs

As the 2013 season of devastating wildfires continues to rage across the American West, the question of arson as a form of major terrorism is again being raised.

Already this year, 35,440 reported fires have burned a total of 3.9 million acres, with a quarter-million acres scorched the iconic Yosemite National Park.

Large blazes continue to burn in several states, with six alive in Idaho, five each in California and Montana, and one each in Alaska, Louisiana, Oregon, Texas and Washington.

The National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho, says at this time last year, 45,278 fires had burned 7.9 million acres, and in 2011, there were 55,619 fires devastating 7.2 million acres.

In July 2012, William Scott, a former National Security Agency official and Aviation Week editor, told the American Center for Democracy that terrorists are using fire as a tactical weapon of war.

“Perhaps the most simple form of economic warfare is wild land arson,” Scott said in his “Fire Wars” presentation. “That’s just setting fires in U.S. forests [and] grasslands.”

It aint NSA.
It’s lighting strikes in a place that Libtards wont let us clear.
Some of it is illegal alien campfires.
Some is just regular campers.

Eco friendly jerks have made the place a tinderbox.
It happens every year

Jerry Brown will tell you it was rednecks with tracer ammo.

I have thought this for a long time.

Never before, at least in my memory, have there been such a huge and devastating number of fires.

Back about 7 or 8 years ago, I remember reading on FR that an arrest had been made of someone suspected of starting a fire. The article was only up for about a half hour and it disappeared. It was a middle-eastern name. It was weird.

The season for Santa Ana winds, as hot, dry east winds in Southern California are known, will begin shortly. I have often thought that terrorists could monitor weather websites to see when such winds are forecast, then coordinate a massive campaign of arson in the area.

It will grow back without the lefty enforced undergrowth. Eventually, the forest will be ok.

Too bad our economy is wrecked by a more devastating Muslim or at least Muslim sympathizer Barack Hussein Obama and his health care take over, force 30 hour work weeks, punishment of hardworking producers and rewarding of couch slobs.

and, stretching our brave military too thin.

all middle eastern names are weird. Maybe, that is their problem.... hmmm, maybe that is the problem with America’s black culture and all the impossible to pronounce and spell weird names like femala and itsaboya, etc.

The forests go in cycles if you don’t clear them.

It’s time for the libtards to get a burn cycle.

Santa Ana’s can be a beast.

A fire in Tehachapi pass will blow like a blow furnace.

The Federal government spends trillions on foriegn aid and ridiculous wars chasing wind. They will spend gadzillions dropping bombs on roaches but cant squeek open their wallet for a small fleet of old C-130s to drop fire retardant to save precious national treasures.

I'm sorry, I love my homeland but I absolutely hate the US government, it is run by a bunch of drunken narcisistic nincompoops

Where does it say that the NSA set the fires? Anyway, if there is evidence of terrorist activity connected with these fires, you can be sure it isn’t being reported—don’t need no burning mosques.

It does not, but rest assured, this is more the result of Ecowienies than terrorists with matches.

I have seen this pattern.

The Muzzies have been burning the forests in Israel for decades. It was only a matter of time before we imported enough of them here to have them start it up.

Till a sheethead gets caught red handed setting a fire it’s just a theory.
Fire is natural in the west and the west is in a draught. Lots of fires
are to be expected. So without proof this is just woo woo scaremongering
to keep every one cringing and crying for big government to protect us......
if we will just give up a few more rights and a bit more freedom.

one of the more “popular” mooselim terrorst scum organizations STATED their intentions to start such blazes several years ago

whether it was bluff and bravado remains to be seen.

Id think that theyd be taking credit for their deeds if they had managed to set these fires though.

noted that in spring 2012, al-Qaeda’s English-language online magazine, Inspire, published an article called “It Is of Your Freedom to Ignite a Firebomb,” which featured instructions on how to build an incendiary bomb to light forests on fire.

A few months later, Russia’s security (FSB) chief, Aleksandr Bortnikov warned, ”al-Qaeda was complicit in recent forest fires in Europe” as part of the terrorists’ “strategy of a thousand cuts.”

Bortnikov spoke of “extremist sites [that] contained detailed instructions of waging the ‘forest jihad’ and stressed that such a method had proved itself effective as it inflicted both physical and moral damage, needed little training or investment and it was extremely hard for police to find and apprehend the arsonists.”

http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2013/06/fire-jihad-forest-fires-in-america.html

this is only the most recent report of the jihadist Stated if not realized Intentions.

Im thinking I read something simiar at least half a dozen years ago.

I’m no savant or psychic but I recall thinking this out loud to my brother a number of years ago, must have been 2004, 2005. I said that if I were a terrorist I would just have a coordinated group go around the country setting fires at predetermined places and times.

Terrorists take credit for actions.
Forest fires are not a terrorist attack.

Terrorist say, “yeah, I did it , and I’ll do it again unless you capitulate”

Machiavellian liberals are smarter than that.
